Wow, I LOVED this story! Lots of angst and in the end lots of fluff! Your Adam and Joan are wonderfully written (all the other characters too) and I had more than one knot in my stomach when I read it. Great work! Keep it up! And you're the first person I know who also listens to Vertical Horizon (no one really knows them in Germany, I think...). I just love their music, and especially their latest album-called "Go"! (Everything You Want is a favorite, actually.)

I loved the line in the first chapter, "Luke wasn't sure if she meant school or death by a bus." Reminds me of the dialogue between the DA and Will about "leaving figure skaters out of it" in "The Devil Made Me Do It".

Sad to see it end but you did a fab job! :D Can't wait for you next story.

Its a really good story but you have some tense problems goin' on, mainly just in the dialog but thats easy to fix. Good work!
