Reviews for The Legend of the Telegram
Mentally Unstable User chapter 1 . 8/8/2011
This was brilliant. I could honestly imagine some of those reactions coming from wanting a message like the Doc's to be delivered with such weird instructions. Funny as Hell.

This was great! One of those types of stories that makes me glad to be a reader of fanfiction, where the author explores something great by way of a common cultural touchstone. Thank you for sharing this story with the rest of us!

This is a very clever little tale. I enjoyed seeing just how Doc's letter was able to reach Marty, and found it quite entertaining that the letter had generated a life its own.

Good stuff, thanks!

*claps* bravo, an excellent read, i've often wondered about that faitful letter that doc had written to marty. not only was this believeable, but it also captured that magic the movies had themselves. _ i have the sudden urge to whip out my DVDs now... curses. again an excellent story, keep up the good writing. mark twain... good one n.n
Patchie chapter 1 . 3/6/2004
A very enjoyable story. I like how you turned it into a kind of summary of American legend over 70 years and included real historical figures. One thing that seemed odd was how nobody mentioned Marty until the end, when they always knew the letter had to be delivered to someone in particular.

Hi..I LOVE this story, it is very brilliant and imaginative. Very periodical, and it tells a great tale of how times changed in the decades after Doc had left the letter in their safe hands. And to think that Mark Twain saw that letter and understood Doc's plan...very very awesome! Go ahead with the story, ME, it is beautiful.
