Good chapter. I was worried for a bit, and still was up until close to the end, that you were simply making filler chatpers without any real progress in the plot. I would say that I see more plot development in the next chapter, but I'm no Isis. I'll be waiting for the next chapter.

The characterization is extremely effective, and I'm impressed that you haven't taken the easy route so many lesser fanwriters take and used the "have Character X raped so they can be rescued by Character Y and get it on" plot device.
