This story is so great. I as a Hufflepuff wanted to know when the oldest story featuring one of my favorite characters(Susan) was published and lo and behold it just so happened to be on the day I was born... it did a great job at tugging at my heartstrings, especially when Luna died... Susan was such a great character here and the ending with Draco and Ginny was amazing with them putting Harry’s grave besides Luna’s

Never knew I would enjoy stories with sad endings, nor did i expect myself to end up with tears welling in my eyes while smiling... Terrific work!

Also, this line really got me...
"Can't. . .have a. . .date with a Ravenclaw. She's close now, Susan."

Wonderful story from beginning to end

Very nice story. Very sweet. Loved your portrayal of Harry and Susan's friendship, loved your sweet protrayal of Harry and Luna's relationship (I'm a big Harry-Luna shipper), and your protrayal of Luna herself and her sacrifice. This was a wonderful story all around.

Oh gosh! So beautiful! What a...words cant describe! Gosh, It's such an unusual twist, but I love it! So sad and horrible about what happened to Luna and Harry, but it all came together and made a fantastic story. I couldn't keep my eyes away from it!

I cried a lot during this, which is saying something. I don't normally cry when I read, unless a story is chapters long. You built your characters just right, and in record time. I felt connected to them all. I completely lost it at the end. Tears are still in my eyes. I know this is almost 9 years old, but if you do read this, I want you to know that you're an amazing writer, and this is probably one of my favorite fanfics. Thank you.

This is a stunning piece of work. Usually when I read a piece of fanfic - especially HP fanfic - I skim it the first time, then re-read it critically, noting grammatical mistakes, weaknesses in phrasing, OOC instances, etc. I did none of that here. I was so completely caught in the story that all I could do was sit here and grieve.

It's a wonderful character piece. If this were a longer story, then I would have advised more fleshing out of the plot or themes, but it works wonderfully as an insight into Harry, Susan and their unlikely friendship. i especially like how it avoided the usual romantic cliches or the annoying overly heroic Harry, but keeps him a teenage boy, albeit a heroic one. Susan is the polar opposite of a Mary Sue. Quiet and undistinguished, she is nonetheless extraordinary for the kindness, the wisdom and the gentle insight that she provides. You also did an excellent job of showing, not telling what Harry and Susan saw in each other and why he was drawn to her. Susan puts no pressure or demands on him and to a boy with the world on his shoulders, that's invaluable. Bravo. I will be looking for other stories by you.
