| Guest chapter 1 . 2/22/2013 I don't know if you're likely to read this so long after you posted, but... I hope you don't try parenting a child the way you had Joyce treat Buffy. Blaming her, to her face, for her father leaving? I'm pretty sure that conversation, even if, in the short run, it ground down her self-esteem to the point that she'd be compliant and do whatever was expected of her, would eventually lead to severe neuroses. It was probably the most awful thing I've ever seen a parent say to a child in a story that wasn't present as horribly abusive. Frankly, I've seen emotional abuse that wasn't so cruel. |
 ScareGlow chapter 27 . 7/28/2008 Great story with many wonderful moments. Okay, so I always dig a good Faith/Xander story with a happy ending, but still, I enjoyed this one very much, so I thought I'd leave the 100th review, even if it is over four years after the story's conclusion. ;) |
