an anime/manga recommendation:
if you've never seen/read/heard of 'rurouni kenshin' i would like to recommend it. they've made a new live action movie that has been released internationally and it is really great (a live action adaptation of an anime series done right) and they've released two more live action sequel movies that follow the next arc of the manga (the dvds should be out soon)... they've released a new OVA series and a brand new/different manga story that the movie is partially based on and recently they've started a back story for the main bad guy... hopefully they'll film the next two arcs of the original mange shortly since it did so great at the box office.

there are a few parallells in 'inuyasha' and 'rurouni kenshin'. in the author's note for 'Rain' written by Fenikkusuken (an inuyasha author) she said, "I've found another conflicted swordsman with an inner demon, exotically coloured long hair and a dead 'ex' issue. At least Kenshin's 'ex' stays dead, and Kaoru ends up more than just kissed!

Love how Inuyasha says Kagome's name when he slowly realises its her, my heart lurched when he said he was holding on hope that it was Kagome when Kikyo was in a coma for 2 weeks.

I love this story. It is definitely unique. I have never seen a fic where Kagome was stuck in a time loop before. I think you did a great job keeping the characters in character. I loved the last chapter. Inuyasha's realization that it was really Kagome and his being afraid to hope were perfect. Great job. I don't know if you still write but I would definitely read any other Inuyasha fics you decide to write.

and ayame does in fact play in inuyasha, but not as kagome's friend. she is a wolf youkai that koga proposed to when he saved her. and she shows up one day and koga says he doesn't remember that. ayame gets mad and automatically hates kagome cuz koga claims to love kagome...well that's the short version anyway... _

Aw... I am really touched. This story, Kagome's self-sacrifice & hardship... What I especially liked is how you portrayed Kikyo - not as some heartless monster, but a victim of circumstance who is, despite all evidence to the contrary, willing to listen to reason. Heartache & love are powerful emotions. Great job.

I'm in tears, several times over. I imagined writing a "Groundhog Day" type crossover with Inuyasha, often - but I could not figure out a way to do it! There was no believable "day" on which events could repeat and yet somehow change the results of the series. Yet, you managed to do the impossible. Kagome eventually decides to "Create" the final battle on her day in the time-loop. Because by gosh, if you only have one day, then it best be a good one.

The most poignant part for me was actually seeing Shippo lose his will to live... Despite the fact that everything else worked out, I was terrified that the little tyke would not make it, after all of Kagome's hard work and sacrifice. I was trying to counsel the fox-kit through my computer screen, by telling him that Kagome would not want him to give up and stop eating! Okay, so that lets you know how thoroughly I loved this story. An insane amount.
