| Jehan's Muse chapter 1 . 7/21/2003 Usually, I can figure out what's going on in a fic, but this confuses me. You describe the figure in the bed alternately as both a man and a woman, and that leads me to believe that it isn't Jack, because while Jack can be effeminate at times, he's not really feminine, certainly not womanly. He's just...swishy. I've gathered that this is Jack/Norrington slash, which really is my favorite pairing here, and so I applaud you. You really captured Norrington's confusion (while adding to my own) and his reasons for sleeping with someone like Jack. He's clearly still in love with Elizabeth, and he's somewhat of a broken man, which makes me sad. Though it's difficult to understand in places, it's beautifully written, and it's Jack/Norrington slash. Therefore, I take my hat off to you. *bows* |
