GoldenGriffiness chapter 7 . 9/15/2013
Near the end of the chapters with the tick tocks and drip drops is verry simple, and would usually seam a little childish- but ou make it verry powerfll.
GoldenGriffiness chapter 6 . 9/15/2013
Wow this thing is scary. Is it true people are researching it? Isn't that tabu? Bio-warfare, I mean. You have a really powerfull author's voice!
GoldenGriffiness chapter 4 . 9/15/2013
I'm impressed, theres stuff in here I haven't heard of, granted I'm just a junior in HS and deafinatel not honors science matierial, but still. The way ou interconected parts of ebola, the imune system and the items is deafinately impessive. Did you have to look for a virus with seven parts? And are all the facts in here true? It's verry interesting! You have a strong writing style, flow and thorough grasp on the charecters. The only critique Ihave is that mabe you could use a little more show-not-tell, especially with the monkey chase, and some more vivid language could help as well. Kudos on spelling and grammar as well, and for the frst story I've managed to dig up today without romance in it yet, witch is NICE in this archive where romance is pretty much inascapable!
Now I'll shut up so I can keep reading XD
XanaduHawk chapter 16 . 1/25/2013
Even though I wasn't a member then, I read this story about two years ago and fell in love with it. I was amazed at how well you not only described the virus, but how you broke down medical terms so that everyone could understand them. It was like read one of Robin Cook's medical thriller novels. Keep up the amazing work.

YamiHeart chapter 16 . 2/24/2011
I read this story a long time ago (after it was finished) and it really got me interested in the Ebola virus. So interested, in fact, that I wrote a children's book on it for a competition at my school. I won first place with it.

I just felt like sharing that tidbit of information with you. I've always felt that this story was amazing, and I can't wait for the sequel.
ForestGuardian311 chapter 16 . 1/2/2011
...I have not read a Sci-Fi story this good since D17-pharaohfox's "Revelation" (?) This kept me on the edge of my seat, and had my laptop not been having problems, I would have finished sooner. This was amazing! I especially loved how you tied in the immune system with the memories and Millenium Items; everything was detailed and just so very cool! And reading that Yugi has magic of his own...)

I am definitely looking forward to the sequel!

Fantastic Job!
ForestGuardian311 chapter 8 . 1/1/2011
Oh Ra...That last part made me wanna cry. Out of curiosity, which song were you using? I'm not sure that I know it...I always think of "You Raise Me Up" or "You'll Be in My Heart." Hmm, I like how you're connecting each of the Millenium Items to an immune system cell. It's cool!
Happy Satisfied Reader chapter 16 . 11/22/2010
I would just like to say for the record that this is one of the beset fanfics I've ever read! :-D It's been several years since I've read it, but it's just as good the second time around. I'm still waiting for this awesome sequel, though!
TexasDreamer01 chapter 16 . 10/7/2010
Something tells me that everyone's going to be semi-experts on the immune system now (and should probably pay more attention in Biology class ).

*looking forward to sequel*,

Selene467 chapter 16 . 4/12/2010
Wow this is absolutely brilliant. There is soo much to comment on with this story, that I can't possibly remember everything I want to say about this amazing story, so I'll jsut tell you about a few things that need to be commented on.

For one, the whole Ebola thing, highly original, I think, and realistic and supernatural at the same time. It was horrifyingly fascinating to read (yes I am weird like that) and though I hardly understood everything, I kinda understood the general idea of all the biology stuff. Probably because you explain it so darn great in the story, great job.

And few...long chapters much? Though that is both a blessing and a curse, it's rather a heavy chunk of text to read, it's also encouraging since it means you're really on a roll with the story and got so much to tell about the story, meaning there will be a lot of exciting things coming around every corner.

And heck, when Shadi sort of transported them into Yugi's body, hell that was freaky, hilarious and awesome! Of course then they went into Yugi's mind and Yami's and things got really weird. Seriously, from the summary and the beginning of the story, I could NEVER have guessed it wuld all lead to THIS! You seriously took me by surprise and I was caught by the story.

The mixture of angst (I love me some angst!), humor, scary things (Wans't scared although Bakura was scary sometimes and I squeaked loudly when Yugi nearly died, like several times, but urghm, besides that, I wans't scared *stands defiantly*)

Anyway, there were so many mood swings here and there it definitely kept me hooked. Joey's random humor in the middle of things and the fun part of him, the not understanding anything quickly and needing simpler explanations, provided by Kaiba who would gladly rub them into his face.

Oh and Kaiba's ordeal was brilliant. I always got seriosuly annoyed during the show because of Kaiba's indifference and I don't believe in this magic stuff! I was like, after everything that's happened, jsut get over yourself and accept it already. but alas, Kaiba is a hard to crack, literally. But I loved his development through the story and his eventual, sort of believe. Yeahright, he still downright ignored the truth, though he doubts his resolve. When he saved Yugi, I just cracked when he tried to cover his "protective move to save Yugi, by his "I don't believe, I merely wish to defeat you myself and no one will beat me to it!" statement. That won't work forever Kaiba! One day you will BELIEVE!

Alright, that out of my system, lets move on to the part I truly, absolutely, completely LOVED and CHEERED for. Yugi's MAGIC! Brilliant, fantastic! Yugi is my favorite character and to have him become even mroe special is like a huge treat for me! It was excellent how you also sort of build that up, first with his keeping Yami's mind sane and stable, but exhausting him, then the whole summoning the Dark Magician and strenghtening him and then the healing of Kaiba, Yugi is so special!

Oh and he saved Yami (Atem)! Totally important. Yami is my second favorite character! Love how he is always to protective of Yugi and you used that personality trait well in your story. I mean, heck, taking on the suffering of the Ebola virus...! Heck if that isn't protective I don't know what is.

And I was really really grieving, downright grieving, when Yami was losing his memory, HE FORGOT YUGI! Well not completely, well actually not at all, his memories were hidden or protected by the puzzle and Yami did remember a boy that appeare din his dreams, but still he Kinda forgot Yugi, and it broke my heart!

Thankfully he survived, he remembered, he returned, and they lvie happily ever after. Well except for that dark and evilish warning hovering over them. Geez give them a break will ya! Loved the epilogue too, loved how Yami is guiding Yugi's learning to heal and stuff.

Oh and you mentioned something about a sequel! I need a sequel, although it's been a while since this story, I'm wondering if you even started a sequel, you mentioned you wanted to finish it before starting to post it, but I'd like to know if you actually have anything written yet cause I'm going nuts for a sequel...can you believe that? Already begging for a sequel and I just finished this story *sigh*, you really messed with my mind.

Oh I forgot another big important awesome thing from your story, heck I should shoot myself for forgetting, although there is quite a lot of information in your story to comment on. Jsut look at the length of this review *sigh, again*

Anyway, the memories of the Pharaoh, they were AWESOME! Really cool, totally fantastic, loved how you made Joey, Tea and Tristan a part of the ancient past too, really nice, tohugh sad that they died, but hey have to keep the story angsty and shocking somehow, right?

Oaky so now I'm totally exhausted from writing this and I was already exhausted from reading all those long chapters, I think you can conclude that I loved the story and I am hoping for that sequel!

p.s. you better be grateful for this long review, I've got my very own personal "Bakura" a.k.a my temper, who will strike you down if you do not appreciate this review. *evil laugh* Uhmfp, right well signing off now, hope to hear from you, soon please.

KyuuketsukiNekko chapter 8 . 1/31/2010
Don't you think it's kind of mean to end all nice and sweet when there's just going to be that much more suffering? XD God I love this story. Love the humor you add into it, but also the angst and your description is good.

Favorites are still Bakura, Kaiba, Jonouchi, and Yami, though. XP Kudos on a great fic!
