Well, that was fun. It's always a joy to see Kazuma's dickery, but also his surprising competence in the right situations. And hey, maybe he'll do even better without Aqua repeatedly screwing him over.

I can never get Konosuba fanfics where they completely replace him with a different character. He's a large part of what makes it so great.

I wish I had more to say, but due to a lack of familiarity, I think I'm going to have to opt out of reading further...at least until I'm able to catch up on Re:Zero.

That said, it's still a solid chapter; also poor Megumin. Her boyfriend's gone missing, and he's probably going to go crazy being around another woman that sounds just like her (Emilia). At least "Fakeumin" is still funny to read.

Rofl; I guess it's perfect timing because I recently started watching Re:Zero right before you published this story. Granted, it's the English dub, but who cares?

I already love the nickname "Fakeumin", and it's not because Emilia and Megumin share the same Japanese voice actresses, though I personally find it funnier that Emilia and Yunyun share the same English voice (it's the personality clash).

Anyway, I guess the funnier part is that where this chapter ends is exactly where I ended off...I should get back to rewatching the show. At any rate, I'm interested in seeing where this goes.

Really interesting, now I don't know which of your stories I'm more excited for more of, but you definitely have fun ideas. I've never commented on one of your stories before but let me just say thanks for all the entertainment I love fun what-if stories like this.
