OH SWEET SALEM'S INVOLVED

I was already hyped for everything beforehand but getting Salem involved immediately got my attention.

Seems like he will be at least strong even if NOT overpowered. Then keep him strong, expand on this premise, do not let this "strong Jaune" feeling you're putting into the story turn into a fucking red herring and make him yet another spineless, underdog coward.

Disclaimer: I only made it through about a quarter of this chapter before I gave up.

This fic has potential, but you are forcing plot points that have no general purpose into it. The stuff with Jaunes dad is terribly written and will serve no greater purpose once Jaune gets to Beacon. I would have just started this fic in Beacon and just told the Family bit in a few quick flashbacks.

Your general grasp of sentence structure is bad, often times you are either leaving out key words or adding unnecessary and repetitive synonyms which either clutter up everything, or read as if a child wrote them. For this I would recommend getting a beta reader, they will point out where you go wrong and help you fix it.

All in all this fic needs work.

Also, putting Crocea Mors' dialogue in italics or highlighting its text would help make that portion of the chapter much less confusing.

What the story in space battle called?

The premise is very interesting, can’t wait to see where take this story. Also I’m a sucker for Jaune fic.

I recommend that you try to put the ancestral sword's dialogue in italics or underline it. It's kind of hard to tell who is talking.

You know I think this a first arc story I read where the parent being the dad actually train jaune kinda nice to read also interesting to see magic being part of there family a la sword and shield question though was it by the Gods or old Ozzie if it’s the Gods hope it’s Destruction he doesn’t get a lot of love, plus it would be hilarious if his on plan worked better than creations.

Mhm, I wonder how will this pan out in the future. Considering the fact that his sword could talk can he ask "it" about Aura Techniques and such? I mean considering the fact that Jaune's sword has been in the hands of countless Arc heirs and some historical figures I am sure Crocea Mors could teach him a lot more when it comes to Aura and training regiments alongside with his Dad, plus he can spar with his Dad for combat experiences and such so he can pretty much be on the standard or at least the basic level for Beacon.

I don't know how it will pan out once he's in Beacon or will he be in Beacon? (I hope he goes to Atlas or Shade or something since it's always Beacon) Will, he still be partnered up with Pyrrha or with someone else?
