Monarchs-sama chapter 2 . 9/16 I'm Excited for this story. I recently got into HxH and Chrollo is quickly becoming one of my favorite villains. Keep up the good work. |
viewing civilian chapter 2 . 9/11 Incredible. Literally started a draft with a similar concept. Except it was Naruto with Bandits Secret, lol. He was already grown though. Anyway, Chrollo’s nen ability is absolutely sick and I’m glad someone adapted it, and you no less. GL with this and all your other stories! |
Gageel Redfox1 chapter 2 . 8/26 Muscular |

UnlawfulGentleman chapter 2 . 7/11 Once again, I fucking love it. A really good blend of My Hero Academia and Hunter x Hunter. To start with, hero names for Izuku: Lucilfer, Quwrof Wrlccywrlfr, Bandit King, Priest, those could all work. First two for obvious reasons (one being Izuku's inspirations last name, the other being Chrollo's alternate name in the official databook and one weird enough that it fits in perfectly), the third because it sounds like something you might hear from MHA and Priest since Bandit's Secret appears somewhat like a bible and combined with the cross on his back, it could definitely work. I'm also really digging the sense of intrigue, mystery around Izuku from the heroes point of view. Namely, the house. When you take into consideration his underground status, it becomes a lot more of a question mark and probably hammers in the fact that Izuku has some shady side job going on and they just accept it. Very cool. Plus the way Midnight and Izuku played off each other in their scene together was pretty damn great. Finally a damn good reveal of Bandit's Secret and all of its possibilities. It shows off just how scary dangerous Izuku must be, it really hammers Izuku's point home (that possibly, the fakes and the unworthy will have their Quirks taken from them) and it looks like - once again - that Izuku has all of Chrollo's abilities with Convert Hands now being added. Makes damn good sense that Dabi would join after that. I mean, why wouldn't he? Although rando-thug's about to have a bad day when he goes for his next crime, only to find himself Quirkless. Hard ouch right there. As for other possible inductees into the Troupe . . . a semi-intelligent Noumu (not High End) might not be a bad idea, especially if said Noumu filled in Uvogin's role in the Spiders. Gentle Criminal might not be a bad idea (with La Brava as an associate), because his Elasticity is not only similar to Hisoka's Bungee Gum, but also because it would be hideously useful to have as a Quirk in their plans. Gotta make a ten story drop? Not a problem with Gentle there, especially if Izuku helps him improve in the use of his Quirk. Need to bitch-slap someone trying to capture you all? Well, elasticize a parking meter. Pull it to it's elasticized limits and let the metal smack 'em right in the face. Problem solved, dangerous capture hero neutralized and hospitalized. Add in La Brava's hacking and that is a good addition to the Spiders. Otherwise there's a few possibilities. If you could find a reason for Eri to join (out of loyalty to the people who saved her, she's aged up and has a hate-on for Overhaul and the Yakuza), she'd be a fine addition to the Troupe and a good stand-in for Machi. Chimera from Two Heroes wouldn't be a bad choice either. Finally, Monika Kaniyashiki from the Musutafu PD might be a good choice especially if there's some way for Izuku to get her to join (a constant in with the police and a damn, damn good Quirk in the form of Scissors). |
UnlawfulGentleman chapter 1 . 7/11 Really, really good start. It lets Izuku do his own thing while actually having a good reason to be brought into the plot, namely through the need for protection for the students. The idea that he replaces Midnight in Eraser Head and Present Mic's childhood's really fun too, allows for some pretty cool shit to go down. Not to mention you've managed to really capture the ominous nature of Chrollo Lucilfer through Izuku quite well and more than that, you've completely filled out Bandit's Secret with all the Nen abilities Chrollo has in the manga, so Izuku's gotta be an absolute monster on just his Quirk alone - not to mention more personal skills like his strength, speed, observational skills, martial arts ability and weapons capability. Plus Izuku's analytical mind. The League is so boned. And the Phantom Troupe's going to exist, too? Hot damn. One chapter in and I'm hooked. |
