I put off reading this fic because me being the over-emotional reader I am, I knew this was going to make me sentimental. I was right.

In just 6 chapters you were able to convey Michael and Stella extremely well. I'm not sure if to be happy or sad that these characters were so well-written. Happy, because it's always nice to read stories with interesting characters, but sad because the angst hits hard, and I mean really hard.

Also, the balancing is superb. From the pacing to the ending, there was just the right balance of bitter and sweet.

All in all, really well done! Kudos to you!

Wait, so Stella WAS the space core? In one of the chapters I felt like you were hinting that she was the curiosity core. But being the space core makes MUCH more sense. I liked this story, and it had a good ending.

I honestly thought that she would become the Space Core, because Stella sounds like stellar, and she is interested in the constellations.
