As AU's go this is the best I have read. Harry and Hermione are close and probably headed for romance later but they are not joined at the hip like so many others have them appear. Keepup the good work.

This is a brilliant story loved the vision of Luna dancing with the Faries. Laughed at Harry wandering around looking for the Centaurs that's just typical Harry for you. Wow you are dedicated when you write looking up that law must have been time consuming. Looking forward to reading Draco etc going into the muggle world can just imagine it their poop heads will explode.

So much fun! Love those Goblins! I foresee more frustration for Albus.

The only thing I would change is the telescope purchasing comments. I would think with a 7 year mandatory astronomy class you would see lots of telescope tinkering. Some common enchantments available for a standard student telescope would include space expansion charms applied to the interior of the telescope to accommodate a magically controlled perfectly smooth reflective surface of Goblin Silver for the high end and common silver or even a spelled smooth water surface for condensing light. Why search the skies when with an integral Point Me spell you could purchase a palm sized telescope that would let you count the rings of Saturn and see magical life on Mars! Maybe made of wand wood that needs matching to its owner for best results for searching out that comet or galaxy that you have an interest in, I suppose goblin silver might be the best at holding the spell to adjust the optics to give the best view. So used in high end telescopes...

Ok. As you can tell I am passionate about this area of the classic shopping trip! I still maintain that a school that mandates 7 years of astronomy was probably founded by a space faring race that had forgotten its origins.

On the other hand maybe it was mandated by a headmaster that was passionate about Astronomy and wanted to make the subject better understood.

If this gives you ideas, feel free to use this in a future fic! I have no writing talent so it would be fun to see someone else use the idea.
