I absolutely love this chapter, not just because of Mitsue's sarcastic and smug attitude, but also because we got some FTE's with both Yo and Kia, two beans on this large island.

I just have to say that I love how opposite Mitsue and Yo are, one's calm, collected and strict and the other is wild, energetic and happy go lucky, its so adorable. She's like Ibuki if she were expanded upon a bit more, I can see that her family takes advantage of her good natured will and this poor girl needs help, and a huge hug at that.

This might be me overthinking certain things, but what happened to some of the other characters? I'm not sure if I misread it, but I noticed some characters haven't addressed certain characters like what happened with Mizuki. I know this might sound biased, but oh well, I loved this chapter regardless.

Kia is such an adorable girl, monkeying around and hanging from trees and it seems that Mitsue found another person he doesn't want to strangle with his fists. I wonder what the deal with the Shorai society she mentioned, it sounds interesting.

Oh my a satellite and communication device set, this feels like a trap, but I might be overthinking it, because why would the mastermind let them have access to this unless it were a trap of sorts.

Sheesh, Yo does sound like Cinderella. I feel kinda bad for her now with Mitsue being so cruel to her. Because he was definitely cruel to a certain extent. It seems like she just wants friends or people to like her.

The group is fairly passive, isn’t it? Granted, it’s only the first real day. It tends to take time for people to organize and get their wits about them. Mitsue does definitely seem very harsh in his assessments, even if I do agree that leaving their dirty dishes behind was very inconsiderate.

The mysterious radio sure is mysterious. The real question will be if they’re friend or foe.

Huh. Can't help but see Yo in a different light with that snippet of her backstory. Poor girl, even if she is completely bonkers too. Then again, I guess it's a coping method.
Kia's story was interesting too, and we can only hope she makes some headway in helping the group before everything goes wrong. Because everything will go wrong. Also, even if he has effective leadership qualities Mitsue really needs taking down a peg or too. Being the type of person he is doesn't make him automatically superior -.-' Though I admit Akari is being an idiot.
But anyway, great chapter. I look forward to the next one

Not much to say about the content of the chapter. All the rules seemed pretty standard. I’m surprised at how quickly Mitsue took command, though. And how forcefully. I don’t think his style of leadership is going to be very effective for very long.

And we got the full cast! Thank you again for accepting my girl! I thought you did very well with her. I’m glad that she and Mitsue seem to get along, that’s a little rare for her. My other early favorites were Hiroto and Kaoru. Hiroto has that very obvious air of mystery around him, and Kaoru is just a sweetheart. I wanna pat his head haha

And here comes another chapter, and another chance to talk about the remaining survivors for this new Killing Game! For now, we start off with:

Kaoru, he seems like a wholesome guy and is one of the people Mitsue actually likes, honestly I can understand why Mitsue does and I can't wait to see more of the guy even if he can't...handle the HEAT...Okay, I'll just move onto the next character.

Hiroto, he's such a mysterious person and I already got questions about the guy, but I'm sure I will have to wait and see more of him before my questions will be answered, but one thing is for sure...he's caught my attention.

Akari, she appears to be very stereotypical and seeing her being absolutely destroyed verbally by Mitsue is one of the highlights of the chapter,at least for me it is a highlight.

Yo, she had a good plan to get rid of one of the many Monokuma's, but it backfired and nearly killed Mizuki...yeah, she's gonna need to be more cautious going forward, because she could probably accidentally kill someone and that would be good for her at all.

Mizuki, she almost died from Monokuma due to Yo's good but backfired plan, honestly if she's gonna be the moral compass for this cast, she's gonna have her work cut out for her...but it's alright, she has the power of...actually I think it's better if I stop there.

Kia, her connection with her monkey is gonna be interesting to see going forward, especially since I'm expecting it to help her murder someone if she does even commit murder, I'm imagining a Gundham Tanaka situation with her...or maybe she might not kill someone, I dunno what's gonna happen next.

Mitsue, He shall be the last person I speak about for now shall be the protagonist...I really like him so far, he takes no one's crap and is brutally honest with everyone, he wants them all to be "team players" and his talent is starting to shine, I can't wait to see where things go with him from here!

Sorry for leaving out half of the cast, I'm sure all OCs will have their times to be discussed in this story, anyways for now I'm glad I didn't mention Jes-PEACE OUT!

Wow this chapter was all over the place, but in a good way. Monokuma is finally here and we're finally getting to see the game in all of its glory. Oh boy this cast is going to be so much fun, I can tell.

Yo continues to be a reckless bean and nearly got my girl killed, how rude lol. Everyone knows messing with Monokuma is a bad idea. I guess I can't blame her though.

I love that Mitsue is a proactive protagonist and not like Makoto or Hajime, he's kinda like Kaede except a lot more blunt and firm with other people. I can sense that he's going to want total control, which inches close to dictatorship and him wanting to dictate what everyone does spells trouble for our future leader.

Akari is so extra, and we stan her, I love her character. Kai is a gremlin who's the Eric Cartman to Mitsue's Kyle, that's the south park reference over with. Hiroto sure is an obedient person, I feel like his gig as a model works with his talent, but I fear his subservience would lead to a more submissive and borderline masochistic route, but that's just me overthinking it.
Kaya seems to be the only one in this group, not smelling roses and joining hands with the others, I wonder what her deal is.

Hello. I think this cast really diverse, and some of the talents here are well thought out. Also, the first impressions I got from them are something like this:

Mitsue is not the kind of typical protagonist, and it sets him apart from other protagonists from Danganronpa. While it might be hard for him to get along with some people at first, I'm certain that during this killing game he will come to at least care about their lives. And I like his 'tired of everything' attitude.

Yo is a really energetic, fun loving goofball who seems to be the comedic relief for now. She also likes to pull pranks and stalk other people. I don't think she'll survive with her hyper attitude, and her fangirl tendencies. But I still like her.

Kaito seems like a really chill guy, and his swearing of the planets and stars in the galaxy was funny. (He didn't deserve to be pranked by Yo though.)

Mizuki is really sweet, innocent and optimistic. However, something feels off about her..and she has an interesting connection to her religion.

Naoki is really shy, and doesn't like to really talk much. He seems to be smart, and resourceful too. It doesn't feel good when you have to talk to someone even if you didn't want to. I understand why he ran off. In the end, I think Naoki is someone I can relate to.

Orie seems to be a secretive person, who also likes to make people happy, but hides behind her avatar to be able to do so. Orie is an interesting character, and I'm curious to see how she does in this killing game.

I see Otoha is a kind person, who is also really encouraging. She is also very caring, when she stepped up when she thought that Kai was gonna die. Also, she seems to have already befriended Yo, so I can't wait to see what more she will do, and of course more of Yo and Otoha's friendship.

Kai might be a jerk, who gets entertainment from others' suffering and drama, but his dynamic with Mitsue is hilarious. Also, he reminds me of my two favorite characters, Nagito and Kokichi, so I know he's gonna be a great character.

Kia is really durable, since she has lived in the wilderness, presumably for months due to her research and care for animals. She is also really gentle, and a good person overall.

Kaya is really analytical and really likes to observe the fungi, even if it's only for her job. Also, she's one of the only people who Mitsue kind of enjoyed talking to.

Akari seems to be self absorbed and entitled, but I couldn't expect nothing less from an actress. But still, I think she'll be an interesting character to watch grow.

Kaoru really wants to help others, and be especially helpful to the Leader of the group, which he presumes to be Mitsue. I really like how you did my boy in this story. Good job!

Connor is a good guy, since he seems sociable, he is a person lot of people can relate to and he is like the 'big brother' to some of the other people in the island.

Hiroto seems to be mysterious, and not that willing to cooperate. However, I can tell he's gonna be important to the plot.

Well, that's what I got from their first impressions. Now, I just want to say thanks again for accepting my OC Kaoru into the cast, I'm still greatful for that, and have a nice day!

There certainly seem to be a fair share of complete eccentrics here, lol. Or at least a number of those with some eccentricity. Poor Mitsue will have his work cut out, won't he. Mizuki and Kia are adorable, and Kaito's space-based swearing is funny :)

This review shall discuss all the characters I've taken note of so far, it doesn't mean I hate the rest, it just means I've seen enough of these characters for me to write something about them:

Ah, a person named Connor who I really like so far? Well at least this one won't need to become human and he also respects other, so far I like him.

I've got an eye on one specific character, AND HIS NAME IS HIROTO HISOKI! Because he's mostly quiet and so full of mystery, he's an interesting one, for sure.

Kaoru's interaction with Mitsue was honestly great and I love how he gets to meet a person whose talent is to be a leader.

Naoki seems like a shy guy and I kinda felt bad how he needed to give information despite him clearly not being that good at speaking, but I'm certainly anticipating more of him in the future, although he's gonna need to work more on the "private" part of his talent.

Akari's gonna be definitely someone, her constant freak out about how pretty she is will definitely be interesting to see going forward, but I'm gonna wait until more information comes out about her.

Kaya appears to be quite the creature in this story, although I think Yo's way of spying on her is definitely strange, but to each their own.

Orie is the person I think who has the most interesting talent by far, this is because her talent being "The Ultimate Virtual Talent" opens up the window for creative events to take place, especially since she's an ultimate at speaking using a 3D avatar, I wonder what she will do moving forward.

Lastly, Mizuki, She has an interesting religious connection...I'll keep an eye on her in the future, especially with how things go from here.

Lastly Lastly, I shall lastly discuss the lastly and not the leastly, Kaito, his personality is very diverse, although his description as "looks like a weirdo and speaks like a wuss" does make me a little concerned for him.

Mitsue and Yo are a good duo, even if it took me a bit to start getting into Yo, Since they appear to be the protagonists, I'll wait until I know more about them before saying anything else.

Overall, this chapter was pretty solid and I'm sorry for leaving out some OCs, I would talk about Kai here but I don't wanna toot my horn here, I'll do it on Discord. Anyways, like I said, I enjoyed this chapter and for an introduction, I surprisingly had more to say about it than I expected so great job with that. I'm sorry for leaving out some OCs but I'll hopefully be able to get to say something about those characters going forward and that I'll have something of note to say later on. Yo is a bundle of personality and I love her. Her talent does make her a little suspicious, though. Can you really learn that much about Ultimates only from reddit? Also, interesting that most Ultimates aren’t well known and are kept classified from the public. I’m not sure if I’ve seen that before in a fic.

Simply put, Yo's gonna give poor Mitsue a run for his money. Though I think that'll be good for him, Either way they have a good contrast. Looking forward to the cast reveal

Mitsue sure isn't having much luck is he. I do love his blunt yet brash demeanor, its nice to see a protagonist like him, he's very Byakuya like in nature but is willing to work with people unlike him. He seems to have his priorities set and I bet he's gonna be a coroner type of character in the upcoming cases.

Let me just say that Yo is such a cute bean, despite Mitsue clearly annoyed by her overexuberant persona. She reminds me of Ibuki, in similar ways the two of them are both very loud and outspoken, wear very bright colors and she has the same chipper attitude, much to his dismay. I'm assuming she's gonna give Mitsue exposition on certain Ultimates on the island, which is gonna be cool to see.

I'm super excited to see who you accept next Mandi, and I can't wait to see how you write my OC, I have high hopes for this story, good luck with submissions.

OwO, I wonder who this woman is. She must be the person that Jirou mentioned at the end of Last Hurrah, because she certainly has a very happy go lucky attitude to her. I wonder how she's going to play into this story, probably acting as the overseer this time around or maybe controlling Monokuma.
