Anyways! This just such a...lovely fic? I loved how awkward the conversation with Javelin was (I would figure that most conversations with robots would be sort of uncomfortable) and how it then seamlessly transitions to the soothing section with Meta and Galaxia.

Speaking of which - the way you wrote their dynamic was just so...good? It's like you can tell they're very close and have been companions for a decent amount of time. The conversations between the two just work so well - the stubborn blue knight quipping against the sacred motherly sword is always a pleasure to read when done right. I also appreciate how you mentioned the age gap between Meta and Galaxia and that she could still (accidentally) hurt him. She is still a sword.

Something else I liked was just how...calm this fic is. Just the right length, sweet, and relaxing. It's honestly kind of hard to find fics like these in this Archive once you've read a decent amount of them - don't get me wrong, I'm all for action and adventure but short, peaceful ones are very nice too!

All in all, wonderful job on this! I didn't spot any grammatical errors...but I also just woke up a couple minutes ago haha. Excited to see your next story! :D

Okay real talk I suppose. Starting off, are your Dream Landers grateful for the Star Rod actually? Gratitude isn't something I directly link with most Popstar citizens (probably the fault of the anime), so I always wonder haha.

Second I must point out that I am strictly of Animal Crossing logic and that it is night until 5AM. That is the cutoff for morning and there is to be no shame about falling asleep until that threshold has been passed. I go to sleep at 4:45 in the morning; leave me alone. Meta is still completely valid in being up at 2AM because it is night. Not morning. I will hear no opposition.

Although Javelin’s sedation offer looks pretty good imo haha. I may have similar feels on that sort of thing to Meta, but it also looks nice when you’re completely trashed. Anxiety might come first, but you gotta weigh your sacrifices man; think about the end goal XD

You get points for mentioning Mekkai and mechanical parts though; oh my gosh you have no idea how nice it is to see a Meta who actually gives a crap about upgrading his ship. Particularly in normal conversations. Like I feel it’s only used as a plot point and just. No. That’s not how machines work.

I like your Galaxia though. Not many people address the age gap between it and Meta, or the fact that it could stab him, so I appreciate both XD But also the fact that it feels like they have real chemistry. It really feels like they’ve been together for a while, with the level of closeness you’d expect from their situation, and that’s not something that I get from all attempts at this character combo, even when people are trying. It’s a nice change. I quite like it.

Of course, unlike Meta I'm making a choice as to how late I'm staying up. Insomnia is no joke. And while I personally don't experience it, I have found the concept both interesting and incredibly fitting for a character such as Meta. I've got some small fic ideas working on the concept myself, though they truly aren't that fleshed out. Might have to fix that lol. And I personally like how you chose to pick Galaxia as Meta Knight's company. Javelin was too much a creeper lol... Her presence and the way you portrayed their dynamic softened the story, and really relaxed the previously uptight setting. So I'd say you accomplished what you needed for sure! Very good job, and a lovely read as always! You consistantly amaze me how you can take a concept and keep it simple, all while making a very good read out of it. My stuff is always complicated... Meh, maybe one of these days I'll finally get my butt back on here to grace the archive along with you haha! XD Certainly can't have you do it alone!
