I think last time I tuned in this story was up to chapter 4. It’s gone in a different direction to what I had expected but I am not complaining. I like the way you write characters and how you don’t force things.

Guessing what comes next

I would have preferred this being a gen fic, but even so, I like it. I personally would prefer less daphne, but even so, I love the story. Thank for the chapter

They are both idiots.
The obvious thing to do would be to start with a curse that can be healed but would leave a scar that couldn’t be healed and see how long if at all it took him to heal to the point the scar disappeared.
If the target area was somewhere like the back of his knee it would also be unlikely to ever be seen

This was very sweet and very funny. I really enjoyed it. I'd like to better understand the interplay between Tom and Harry though.

Hermione is what you’ve describe harry as she does nothing but read and study when not compelled by outside forces to do something different, even her light reading demonstrate s her voracious appetite for knowledge and learning, Harry is not where he is because he works hard, if the world worked like that Hermione would be beyond him, as would perhaps several Ravenclaws Percy Weasley and all the other bookish academic types who do seem to be so adept at learning from theory that they are often able to master spells just by reading about them and often get them to work on the first attempt.
The Dumbledores, Tom riddles, snakes, marauders of the world which is a category your harry falls into, ate so much better than their peers due to talent, there is no need to study as Sirius so aptly put it, their ability and grasp of magic is such that the only real barriers to them are those they set themselves (whether knowingly or not, after all believing something is impossible without having tried or considered trying Is a self imposed limitation) or TME as you call it if they magically exhaust themselves or get close to it then the task atxhad requires more magic to be channeled into it than they may be able.

This is quite an enjoyable story. Love the dynamic between Harry and Daphne. They are quite cute together. I do love your version of Daphne. She's kind of like a combination of Luna and Hermione. Very well done that! Sad to see Harry so mentally damaged by his time at the Durleys. Enjoying the good Dumbledore. He is quite a bit of fun, too. Also love the humor that Sirius and Remus introduce into the story. That is also very well done. Tom is also an interesting character. It's almost like Harry has an evil twin brother in his head. It's quite a unique take on the story. I like how Tom and Harry sort of have a competition about learning and improving their magic. Great job!
