this is fine as a one-shot, but it would be so much greater as the basis for a longer story, or even a short series. the prequel could be from daphne's point of view as she contemplates harry during her hogwarts years before voldemort's rise and defeat. the next part could focus on what happens right after this scene. courtship is a very formal and - to us - outdated/antiquated process, which makes it interesting to see how it fits into your take of the wizarding world. i just like those stories where wizarding culture is explored more than canon ever showed us and this would be an amazing addition to the list.
