My first thought after reaching the ending was "what Danny doesn't think it might be an imposter. He lives in a world where strangers and mind controlling capes are a thing."

Okay this is Danny believing what he wants to believe or him just thinking it is a drunken stupor induced hallucination but i'd like some disbelief in the next chapter before he fully accepts it.

Other than that it is an decent premise but i need more before i can judge it.

There's no original hook that i see. Taylor has got powerful magic and returned in time to save her dad but what's next? Is someone going to refuse to recognize her as alive? Is the PRT going to give her grief, thinking she's a construct of Danny playing the part of Taylor like the Siberian did for Manton?

Or is it going to be the usual get revenge on the bullying trio indirectly and clean up the city one gangbanger at a time? What is her goal?

Well, this should be all sorts of amazing. Following in hope. Crucioing Shadowbitch would be bad right? Yeah, don't care. Although, your Taylor will probably come up with something way more creative.

Again, you drew me in with A Life Twice Lived, and I had to comment on Altered Paths, so here I am again. This sounds so freaking AWESOME! Yes yes YES! Can't wait for more, can't wait for multi-millionaire Taylor because seriously her potions will make her the envy of all! Mwuhahaha! Ahem...ok but seriously this is great, and I love even just the hint of this concept. PLEASE tell me Taylor gets a chance at justice by using a Patronus Charm against Sophia?
