This was just exactly what I needed right now! Your portrayal of Loki (and everyone else, too) was exactly on point, and I loved it. This is the kind of ending we all deserved to see!

THIS. This is what a decently written conclusion to the film would have looked like...

I am THRILLED that there is now a universe where we can ignore the utter travesty of Loki's death.

Where he didn't die for absolutely no reason, with no clever plan, despite there being pointers towards it in the first one (that were clearly just them toying with the fans).

Where we didn't invest in his wonderful redemption arc, only for it to be thrown away with a blink-and-you'd-miss-it death, which frankly only had an impact because of the way the actors played it and the history they managed to convey during those brief moments (I'm thinking specifically of the "Odinson" line, amongst others).

Where Thor didn't go on to become comic relief and seemingly forget Loki even existed whilst mourning only Frigga (who, to be fair, he'd already grieved for) and Jane, who wasn't even his girlfriend at that point!

*Deep breath*

Apologies for the rant but I may have had some major issues with the disaster that was the final two films, which makes your marvellous story even more welcome.

Getting back to said story, I loved how Loki is still tetchy and prickly in his head, yet his actions show his true feelings and hidden benevolence. I also really liked how you showed Thor's evolution into a more mature version of himself, especially how he now thinks before he speaks.

Of course the best part was the bond between them, which has also evolved, and despite it being really funny that Thor is enthusiastically trying to get Earth to rename Saturday, it's also really heart-warming because as Loki rightly states, there's genuine thought behind it.

A bonus was the way Morgan latched onto them both, and charmed Loki despite his best efforts, and Peter's fan-boy reactions. Having seen at least the interaction between the two Toms, even though we never got to see Loki and Peter on-screen together, I can nevertheless picture this.

I really, really did enjoy the story. Thank you :)
