I would love to see a sequel

I'm so glad you lied to your friend and wrote this. It was shorter than the stories I usually read, but I loved it all the same. I liked the pacing of the relationship and how there was the denial that it was going to work even though they were progressing. And then in the last chapter when Severus started to name all the moments when things "became more" I just felt my heart sing. It was so in character that he would be noticing these moments. Then when she realized he was letting his guard down and not just being nice, it really sealed the deal. Of course, (as I do with all fanfictions I read) I do wish it was longer, but this still was amazing to read.

I think this was a tribute to a fun pairing. Sure it was smutty but it had snarky Severus, smart hermione and it had dry humor. In a word, it was lovely.

Oh goodness, the akward. Usually I am wanting to smack him and feeling bad for her, not the other way around. Until he made the comment about her maturity and then I was like, yep, smack him. They deserve each other.

Your fluff level was perfect here, very subtle and well earned. This was a well done take that stayed solidly in character and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

I very much like this because it is believable. It wouldn't work if she was 22, but absolutely for a bitter divorced Hermione who not afraid to take what she wants. Honestly, this is more believable than a load of fluff given her current mental space. She wouldn't be open to fluff, but she would be to casual mind blowing sex, especially with someone where there is no risk of commitment. One note, in the beginning there is a line that she met him 12 years before. Assuming you meant 22 years?

Also, I think I need to invent an award for best Severus Snape hand porn, because this would win.

Noooo please write more. This was really good. One of the best of how severus's personalilty could be behind closed doors. He is not an easy character to get this right on and many PPL do it badly but this is exactly how I could imagine him being. Please do more!
