Now that we've established that we all like reading the good stuff, it's time to weed out our next batch of readers. Are you a Snape-hater? It's perfectly okay if you are. To each his own, however that is not how I see him nor how I write him. He's a broken person, abused since birth by horrible parents, bullied at school, and manipulated by two megalomaniacal puppet-masters. He didn't take one for the team, he took like 50 for the team. The Order would have been wiped out if not for the work he did. I'll admit the guy needs therapy. It was a dirty job, and he did messed up stuff, but you can't think Dumbledore was an okay guy and hate Snape. He was doing the hard work that Dumbledore asked him to do, and offered himself to be used as a tool for the Light. If you've read this far and disagree with me, my stuff may not be for you. You're welcome to come read it if you are just curious what the other side is laying down. However, if you are a sadomasochistic troll who likes to torture yourself by reading entire stories you don't like just so you can flame them, please move along.

All the smutty Snape-lovers still here? Great! Now let's continue on to the subjects of teacher/student relationships, age differences, consent, and levels of smut. I'm not a huge fan of anything happening with Hermione unless she's at least seventeen. I don't know why that's the magic number for me, but it is. If you can't handle a 6th year Hermione hooking up with a 37-year-old Professor Snape, just read the summary before diving into the story, please (she's not always that young...depends on the fic). I'm a big fan of tagging age-differences and listing any trigger warnings right from the start. I'll let you know ahead of time if there is anything beyond the vanilla happening. Then if you complain I can say, "Hey...you were warned."

I'm still relatively new to this writing thing, but I've been reading HP fanfic for a while. I absolutely want to cry when I find I've accidentally committed hours to reading abandoned or incomplete stories with months between updates. For that reason, and also because sometimes I think of new things to add to the plot that requires going back and throwing in some foreshadowing, I won't post a story unless it's complete. I may post them a chapter at a time to torture you, but it will be completely written from the get go.
