This is so pure and fluff I love it X3 I can't wait to read more, it's great seeing King Bowser doing his parental duty. And with a fellow parent, no less! I wonder how Melanie and Bowser Jr. met or how the parents met. I did think it was cute that they were coloring together and getting along. Just the right amount of them this introductory chapter, but I'm not opposed to them appearing more in the future; the series is called "Play Dates" after all ;D
