Those idiots had Lucius right where they wanted him, and they left him in a position to cause trouble. They should have required him to make some sort of oath, so that he would lose his magic and his life if he acted against Harry & Co. or aided and abetted their enemies in any way. I think they blew it.

I actually think Draco was a little fish in this game and not a big one. I'm convinced someone else is pulling the strings - someone with more subtlety - and I think it's that Gallah and Percy. I think Percy's re-appearance at a family gathering is too coincidental, and I think Gallah retreated too easily. I think Arthur's life is in jeopardy, and I think Percy is the culprit. Just a hunch, but that is how I'm reading your clues.

Wow! I think about Percy and suddenly he appears. I still think he was involved in some way. He is depicted negatively here: glaring, staring, evil looks, making snide comments to both Harry and his dad. I somehow don't think reconciliation is really on his mind.

Well, that was an interesting cliffhanger.

It must be very frustrating to the Good Guys to be unable to nail the bad guys. I think everyone hoped that would stop once Voldemort died, especially since there was a better Minister.

"But is who they think is behind the terror really the one in charge?" This question is asked in the teaser at the top of the story. It's made me wonder about something. We haven't heard anything from Gallah in this story. It he still Minister of Education? Is Percy still with him, whatever he is doing? Is it possible that he and Percy are behind these things? Percy may not have been a marked Death Eater - or was he? - but he sympathized with Fudge and Gallah. Since the kidnappers had guns, is it logical to assume that some of them are Marked DEs who have lost their magic? Could Percy have been one of them? Just wondering ...

Well, they have Polyjuice, so some others can impersonate Ron, Harry, and Sirius, and they can go with Hermione. After all, Harry can become truly invisible. **sigh** It's too bad they don't have Tonks in your story. She could go as Hermione. Actually, I guess one of the guys could go as her.

I thought they had caught all of the creeps earlier. I wonder exactly who these are.

LOL! So Hermione is a super-B to work for, eh? That doesn't surprise me. She's certainly lucky she got out of that mess alive. I wonder if she will learn any lasting lessons from the entire experience. She hasn't been a very astute student of human nature thus far. We can only hope she listens and learns. I'm sure she just hopes their lawyers are as good as Harry says.

In the offices of Marauders Inc, Harry, Sirius and Remus were discussing the next project. "You do know where this evidence is pointing don't you?" Sirius asked.
"Yes Sirius, I just can't believe that she's aware of it," Harry said.
"Why has she recently come back into everyone's life? It seems too much of a coincidence to me," Sirius responded.

So Sirius really believes Hermione could be in on the whole illegal operation. No wonder he is so angry and threatened to wipe her memory. Harry probably feels guilty, because he introduced Hermione to Stoneham. I'm wondering if Malfoy and Gallah are involved in the illegal part of it.

I'm afraid this intrusion is on Harry. Why didn't he revoke Hermione's apparating and floo privileges? Considering their current relationship and his security issues, he should have. Then again, IMO, she has lost the right to demand information from him. Actually, I don't think she ever had the right. He just generously granted the privilege. You know, I wonder how she has explained their changed relationship to her parents. Surely they've noticed and asked.

I wonder if Hermione's company is involved in the illegal drug smuggling operations they are raiding? If so, I'm thinking her life is about to get much more dangerous.

"Think about it. Have you ever even once apologized to Harry for treating him like a whore? Because that's how you treated him. Maybe that university changed you because all I see is someone who only thinks about what they want." Normally, I'm not a Ginny fan. However, you have made her much more three-dimensional. I like that she has read Hermione the riot act, and she is spot on.

"That's classified. How do you know anything about that?"Gee, how would a world-famous philanthropist - one who regularly gives away money to help people start businesses, build hospitals, and actually knows both the Longbottoms and the head of the facility where Hermione works - know about such a thing? My guess is that Harry commissioned the research. Let's see.

"Hermione still didn't fully understand why her actions caused Harry to get so angry but obviously they had." Um ... Can you say "I'm a User"? Hermione is pretty clueless if she can't figure out that she just used the one person who has always treated her well and cared for her to "scratch an itch" and then left like nothing big had happened. She of all people knew Harry had been devastated by the death of R.J.; then he was betrayed by Cho; and finally had also lost Kristi. He had loved the first two deeply, and those losses obviously left him crushed. Perhaps she figured he would take it in stride, as he had with Kristi. She apparently forgot his comment that Kristi had always been honest with him about her wants and needs, and that is why he was able to retain that friendship.

Hermione has a lot of nerve resenting Ginny for setting Harry up on dates. In fact, I'd say she's lucky Molly and Ginny haven't decked her. What does she expect? She proved herself to still be a game-player, and she list the big round.

Even though it's been 13 years since you posted this, I just wanted to thank you for such an awesome job.
I loved your OC's and I usually hate OC's but you did them perfectly.
I'm personally think that harry x cho make the more sense in the cannon story and usually I prefer that pairing. But this story I loved R.J and harry and was sad when you killed her off.
I also liked how you made the harry ginny thing work, you did it much better than JK did.

I do wish you used Harry's animgus form more throughout the story.
