HAH! My favorite trio of girls to get with Ranma..no lie I always found Nabiki attractive..just..very..very..very greedy..in canon, but in fanfics? Like worshiper of a God or Goddess of Avarice greedy..Fanfics crank that up to 11. I'll admit a soft spot for Ukyo..mostly cause I like the fact she's more down to earth (relatively speaking) compared to the other fiances and her fighting style has some ninja roots apparently. As for Xian Pu/Shampoo..? She's adorable and while overbearing at times her kinder moments show a really nice girl under all the craziness that goes on around Nerima..which is a character all on it's own for how much crazy stuff happens there not just in Ranma but in other series too. I'm a fan of Table Top RPGs like D&D and the like so this caught my attention fast..my only gripe is that now I gotta wait for the next chapter...that's the problem of reading a good start in one go, you get really excited for the next chapter. Also..I do like the whole explanation of why people would buy the infamous "Bikini Armor" that is so common in fantasy series..unless that thing has some serious magic for protection it ain't protecting much..heck even the Goblin Slayer series makes a comment about it when a female adventurer wants to get one but comments on how little protection it offers, and how she tries to get around it..since she wants something to show off to a male adventurer she has the hots for..if you've never read or seen Goblin Slayer..no one..and I mean NO ONE has an actual name other than their race and class unless they are well known for something..like Goblin Slayer.

Please tell me they buy something that resemble light armor for nabiki the one who could die from a sniff don’t die?

Please bootcamp for Nabiki! Also Ranma really need a weapon, it was obvious today thar he could do with one even a bo!

Question what they will do with Nabiki? She is a con artist, she could a really good merchant, mafia , parlor owner, Be a information breaker, but she is level 0 as an adventurer. She is not thief, she lack of dexterity, pickpockiting, using any weapon, open anything, and she is so breakable that is no funny! So how you go teaching her thief physical and armed skills like last year? She is too old!

She need too much work!

All the other are in better shape. Ranma needs a weapon and know how to use it to be better prepared but he is the upper level of the group with Shampoo, Ukyo is behind like level 7 to 8 bu good for her age, but they won’t survive saving Nabiki all the time, saving her is a job that will make one of them incapacitated in any fight only to protect her. So she need a bootcap pronto!,

cute I suppose. Maybe worth following. But I never really got into DND so, I'm more interested in the next heated storm update. I can't point to anything bad about this chapter though, so take that as a compliment! :P

This story seems pretty interesting - a Ranma 1/2 crossover with D&D (Planescape in particular) is pretty unique, unlike the gazillion Sailor Moon crossovers (not that I have anything against Ranma/Sailor Moon crossovers, just that they're a dime a dozen).

Speaking of crazy stuff across D&D, go check out the original Fiend Folio for AD&D 1e - it has familiar faces such as drow, gith, kuo-toa, and slaadi but then there's obscure beings such as achaierai, crabmen, dakons, norkers, tweens, etc...

As for the D&D group Ukyo was part of, they must have been real geeky (along with a good understanding of English) to run Queen of the Spiders since AD&D 1e was never officially released in Japan (although most of the Gold Box video games did get ported to Japanese computers). D&D first came to Japan in the form of BECMI during 1985. There was a good amount of BECMI content brought over, including some of the Gazetteers. It was popular enough such that people were serializing replays (basically session reports) on magazines, with one particular replay serial being the basis of Record of Lodoss War. AD&D 2e did get an official release in Japan, but from what I could find, it wasn't very successful - only the rulebooks along with a few accessories were brought over.

Lol this is great! I saw this come up the other times it’s been updated, but I actually didn’t think I’d like it until I realised you were the same author from Heated. You’re just so good.

Now an "every day life" kind of chapter starter, not bad, it keeps things from moving to fast while telling more of the world and characters.
The action was nice but it was really short in description, I do hate stories where a fight would take chapters(cough... DBZ-cough..) to end, but also some description or more info could make it more enjoyable instead of feeling like reading a resume of what happened.

Woah, I was a little intimidated to read something I dont know. Many fanfic and specially crossover do the 2 extremes, they tell the story like if the reader already know the whole thing (like you did with Ranma universe but with some tips and description with every interaction) or make a complete copy of canon and then paste it with another copy of characters from a different universe.

So it was cool I didnt feel lost or confused XD
