This is the most depressing thing I’ve ever read

Man, this was really depressing. I like the twist at the end where Stumpy becomes the new Mr. Cat, I really wasn’t expecting that!

Poor Stumpy. This was so sad.

Oh man, this was really sad! But also quite believable. Stumpy's descent into despair was gradual and tragic, and I could feel his desperation and anger growing as I read this. I can still see a bright spot for him down the road, since he'll eventually turn thirteen too and have to leave Smileyland, which will force him to have to go down a different path. One can only hope he finds happiness wherever that path may lead him and that he isn't too far gone already...

Very nicely written, this tugged at the heartstrings just right. :)

good oneshot, the way you described stumpy's break was gradual and believable. that plot twist at the end is particularly chilling and unexpected. i expected him to leave or kill himself, so his "personality twist" was a shocker (in a good way).
nice fic overall, u should write longer ones.
