I stumbled across this fic and have now read it through four times consecutively. This story is a work of art, and it brought me much needed closure for the tale of Noctis. As far as I'm concerned this is a canon epilogue; this made me cry just as much as the last campfire scene did.

So I was going through your Nox!virce and I was reading your other stuff on tumbler (and I would have messaged you there but tumbler hates my tablet,) and I read that you haven't found any good fem!Xanxus fics. So I'm recommending an author who has a whole bunch of amazing fem!Xanxus stories that are linked together! There name/link is : u/57154/Lys-ap-Adin and the first story is called Sugar and Spice. Be warned thought there is sex, like so much sex, and most of it's there for emotional and plot reasons so if you skip it you'll be a bit lost story wise. But it's well worth the read.

This was an absolutely gorgeous piece! I cried so much reading the whole thing, mourning for Noctis who had endured so much, who had bled and cried and mourned and sacrificed himself in the end, only for him to end up in a timeline where the people he knew and the places he loved ended up never existing. It was so moving and heartfelt that they accepted him for the person he is, for the person whom he had tried to hide.

I'm even more saddened by the fact that these people reminded him so much of his friends from his timeline, and that it must have killed him inside to be around them so much, knowing just how similar Aera was to Luna, or how similar Gilgamesh looked like Gladiolus. Even just having people around him, talking to him like his friends once did, giving him the love he so dearly craves; it must have hurt him so deeply inside to know that they would never exist given the change in timeline.

I hope to see more from you in the future! Keep up the good work!

Holy shit. That took the lore of the game and made it more real, cohesive, painful, devastating, and hopeful. I remembered all the parts I played and all the times I cried. I cried a bit again, at the pain and loss and emptiness of the shattered Noctis.

Wow... I dont know any of the characters, and have no experience with the final fantasy franchise, and yet... I found his story incredibly moving... very well done. Very well done indeed
