Oooooo in excited for the Fireheart family reunion that should be interesting

Huh. I wonder who Princess is talking about. Normally I'd guess Scourge, since this type of reference in an AU generally matches up with characters that are important(or at least known) in the original, but Princess says he's from the same litter as them, while Tiny/Scourge was several years older.

New character?

Silverthorn really got screwed over. He deserves a lot for being such a prick to Fireheart, but he did NOT deserve that.

I was feeling bad for poor Silverthorn, then you go and twist the knife with Fireheart's reunion with his sister :(

I really love how Princess and Cloudtail have become members of BloodClan! I think having BloodClan cats that are friendly with some characters will add a really interesting dynamic to the story going forward, especially since the portrayal of BloodClan in the canon was so cut-and-dry evil.

Also when Princess mentioned that they had a brother in BloodClan, I was like "Oo a new character! I wonder what their brother is like." And, it took me all the way to the end of the chapter to realize that she was talking about Scourge haha... I totally blanked on the fact that Fireheart and him are related.

You are such a fantastic author! I remember seeing your stuff pop up in the archives way back in the 15s/16s, so when I stumbled upon your account I instantly had to go back and take a look at your stories. They are just as wonderful as I remember them being and it was a blast to go through everything! I might only be commenting here, but I've actually read everything except the old version of this series. (Even during summer, I'm procrastinating...) I would love to see more on the Blazing and Po3 books, but I also totally understand that sometimes you just run out of fuel for some ideas, and I'm perfectly happy just to continue reading this series anyways! I love the representation in your stories and also how much more questionable you make the villains - in the different stories I was always wondering if x cat would actually be the bad guy like he is or not, it certainly helped add to the AUs because I didn't already know who the villain would be and how it would go down. This is getting a little long so I'll leave off here, but I've really enjoyed reading your works and am excited to start following along with this one!

Well, this chapter is certainly themed around family. Despite the story being about Fireheart, who lives in RiverClan, there sure is a lot of focus still on ThunderClan. I hope Sandstorm and Ravenclaw can patch up their relationship.

I am wondering if Lily is the same as Lilystem from Crookedstar's Promise? Considering she seems to be pale grey or silver as well!
Gosh, Silverthorn is such an interesting character. He started out as an absolute asshole and he definitely did some things that were unacceptable, but I have been greatly enjoying watching him develop and in a way I think he is one of the most important characters in this story! It's a little bit like Breezepelt, but actually done well.
The gathering of cats who had cross-Clan relationships was really nice too, I didn't expect there to be so many! I'm hoping that some time we will find out who their mates were :)
