This was beautiful. I love magic tricks and the complicated balance of life between happiness and suffering. This was a beautiful piece of art and despite the bitter-sweetness of the ending, I still consider it to be a perfectly happy ending. This is Zim's recovery and Dib's legacy and it's beautiful.

I very much loved this story. It's bittersweet, but it's cool to see how much Dib has taught Zim, and how Zim tries to go on his new existence without his friend.

This was a unique lesson Dib had taught them all. It's nice to see the Irkens trying to revert back to a more natural, mortal way of life. That's something you don't read about everyday.

Dib taught them that life is precious and shouldn't be taken for granted, and he gave them the freedom they deserved, and in turn the rest of life in the galaxy. It's very touching. Nicely done.

This was a rather bittersweet way to end it, Zim and Dib completed their mission, the Irkens as well as the rest of the universe are at last free from the Control Brains.

But Zim lost the remnants of his only friend in the universe, I can only say that lesson was the hardest thing for Zim to learn.

Really loving Zim's last goodbye to Dib, and the fact that Dib will be remembered by everyone, like he always wanted. And liking Zim's sympathy for the Tallest at the end there.

Aw, it's so sad that Dib's not around anymore and Zim's now truly on his own. But he's really grown up in this story. I had a FEELING the title of the tale was about Dib somehow misdirecting the audience so something big could get done, a prison break. I was almost utterly sure the real Dib was going to show up to break Zim out and I was SORT of right, Dib DID break Zim out...just not in the way I thought.

Didn't see it coming that "Dib" was just a program, however. Nice twist, and it explains that question I had last chapter.

So Dib was the virus all along

and now the control brains are gone

It's definitely going to take some time for the Irkens to get used to the idea of being free, especially since they didn't even know they where slaves

but if Zim can do it then so can they

I wonder if it was Zim or Dib's idea for him to become the virus?

I really like this story! It's really clever and interesting, and I love the plot to it. The Control Brains execute too much control over everyone, which is brain washing, and it's going to be nice to see the Irkens finally freed from that programming so they can think for themselves, make their own decisions, and live life how they want to live life.

I'm rooting for Dib and Zim, I hope they can finally give everyone freedom to think for themselves, though it will come as a shock to them.

Heh heh, well Dib pulled quite the magic trick that neither the Irkens nor the rest of the universe will ever forget.

And he couldn't have done it without Zim, so taking a bow would be a moment of glory fot him and of course, an insult to injury for the Irken Empire, mainly the Control Brains.

The idea of Zim trying to learn how to drive a car is too damn funny, but of course that lead to humanity finally finding out humans aren't alone in the universe, funny how that slip up lead to a historic moment, heh.

Now is he trying to get them to break free themselves similar to how he helped Zim (very doubtful on that one) or is something else happening elsewhere? (I'd say much more likely)
