Well, it is great story. But I do wonder about one thing. Why are the Neuroi doing all this? Is it really just for resources, or are they preparing for the Reaper's return? And if it is the latter, why aren't they trying to be diplomatic? Surely joining forces would increase their chances. Or are they just VI who can't think beyond simple programming.

So does humanity have the same technology as in the anime?
