So weird that Aegon was like 27 and hadn't had any kids yet, he must've been married for like 10 years. Would've been a solution to make a second son lord of the reach or something, perhaps even the heir could get it as practice for ruling instead of Dragonstone. Would've caused a lot less problems later too because his grandchildren would not all be minors

I’ve never seen a version of Aegon and Orys like this. A very different read for me but very interesting. That parley is going to be real interesting. Look forward to the next one!

Great start here, reminds me a lot of the history story KingOfWinter made as a prequel to Fall of Dragons.

One thing I will say is I think Maegor gets a bad rap. He did what needed to be done in response to the enemies of his house.

I love Visenya as a character, even though I know very little about her and haven't read Fire and Blood. I just like that she's a bad ass warrior woman with a Valyrian Steel sword.

I'm thoroughly enjoying 'Idiots' and I'm looking forward to the next chapter of that one, but I'm also very intrigued to see where you're going with this one!

Wait Argella was 14 when Orys raped her? Really, why is he surprised that he is hated? Fucking pedo. Apart from that, it is rare to find story about this period and even more rare about a true confrontation between the Direwolf and the Dragon.

Your portrayal of Aegon is very off-putting

I think you may have mixed up Aegon and Viseyna. Aegon, according to Martin himself, was a lot like Jon Snow. He was a brooder that was merciful to his friends and allies, but deadly to his enemies. Orys was actually his best friend and considered only friend. Him threatening Orys for calling him brother is very oc of him.

Another really good chapter and works well in setting the political scene. I particularly like the relationship you have built between Orys and his ‘lords’, it is a very reasonable and well written. I’ll admit this chapter has made me hope to see what happened to house Durrandon happen to House Targaryen. That being the last surviving daughter being married to the bastard brother. I’m sensing some Brandon Snow/Visenya Targaryen vibes! Thanks a lot and can’t wait for more!
