I'm glad that you made Carol a very good friend, the best friend Daryl needs (not a love interest or a competitor). And it's nice to see her making progress.

I usually hate dependent people or codependent stories (because I've been there in real life, my ex was dependent on me) because I feel like they're lazy and too weak. But the other comment said that she grew out of it or something so I'm still giving it a change. Although I'm reading with so much cringe through these last 2 chapters (3-4). Crossed my fingers.

this was cute af. loved how she overcame herself and grew as a character. love how you nailed how Daryl and his protective side. love how they both stumbled and fumbled their way to figuring out their awkward stage.
I give it a 10/10. it was a quick and feel good read. would have loved to see some Dixon vengeance taken out on the assholes that hurt her (fuck frank) but it was still satisfying.
