Excellent fic, 2Dglasses! This story deserves more attention than it has gotten. it is crazy how many brilliant fics get lost in the shuffle of fast moving uploads. That said, I love father-daughter fics and this just fed my need very well.

I loved the note note from Owens, which hinted at a friendship that we didn't get much of on screen.
I also really enjoyed How much Hopper has grown to love El over the last year. His protectiveness and grief over her upbringing is well portrayed here.
I also liked that the story didn't bog down in what the videos contained but gave us enough for hopper to get mad about.
The conversation, such as it was, with El at the end was excellent as well. I would loved to hear just a little more from her, but this was more about Hopper. So Good!

Another excellent fanfic! Loved this one. Enjoyed El's and Hopper's moment together at the beginning. Liked that Owens wanted to help Hopper and El, and also that he felt really bad for her, and that he erased all the footage from the lab's system. Liked the way you described Hopper's emotions before, during and after his viewing of the tapes. Would be very tough for him to watch. What Brenner did to El, as well as Kali and all the rest, was monstrous and horrific. Liked that El found out he watched it and they talked about it. As I said in my other review, I'd like to see her talk to someone in the show about what happened to her. Also glad he admitted to revealing her location in season one, and that she forgave him.
