Great story! I agree, somebody should have told Quentin about his daughter's death way before he found out in canon.

This was a very nice one shot to read.

Yeah, makes sense that Roy would tell Oliver about all the sh*t that went down while he was “dead”, because unlike all the other team members he was actually consistently loyal to Oliver and the city. Everyone else either craps on Oliver for every thing that ever happens, or leaves the crusade or both. Roy only left because it was to save Oliver.

Good to see Oliver be honest with Quentin, which while in some cases it would be ok to lie, but not in this one. I’d think that Oliver would at least first try to tell Laurel “Look. This thing with Quentin isn’t going to end well. I was willing to let it slide before, but this has been going on far too long. Either you tell him or I will.” But it makes sense for him to just cut the middle man out and do it himself.

I accepted her not telling Quentin at first, but when she started impersonating Sara then it crossed the line for me. That was just wrong. And frankly, I had a very hard time Laurel wasn’t just swapping out her addiction issues for booze and pills to adrenaline instead.

Good story, and I hope to see more like it in the future.

I hope you write more of this story soon and I hope laurel and oliver get together.

Nice story

So this was good. I mean, common. Hiding something like that from Quentin? And I don’t hate Laurel, because if the writers didn’t mess up her character she would be awesome m. But the writers love messing up Oliver and Laurel’s characters. They write them, to make them seem like stupid assholes. And I definitely agree with the fact that Roy would tell Oliver what happened. And I’m sure that if the writers didn’t warship Felicity so much the show would be better in many ways.

An enjoyable read. Man, I wish Oliver would've told Quentin the truth instead of having it come out the way it did. I honestly expected him to freak out after learning what the team did to Quentin (and there's no way Roy wouldn't have told Oliver everything that had gone down since he left to duel Ra's because unlike, Dig, Felicity, and yes, even Laurel, Roy was fucking LOYAL to OLIVER and Starling City! But like you said, this was back when Cockenheim was controlling the narrative and his focus was directly on Felicity and Oliver's nether regions joining with one another... I get wordy when I get ultra sarcastic... :)

I do think Laurel keeping Sara's death a secret from Quentin was one of the stupidest decisions Arrow ever made. However, I never disliked Laurel for this as it was to show how her character really doesn't handle grief very well. Now that think about it no one in the Lance Family does.
