Great job keep it up. I've been keeping to Social distancing since March when the state went on lockdown the only contact I've had with anyone is via the internet or social media and messenger groups. So I'm in pretty good health hope you updates soon

Fantastic chapter!

I love this story. Never before had Harry have an adult really talk to him and help him realize some important things. I am so happy that Harry is getting the opportunity to travel more. I also hope that Harry taps into some of his Slytherin qualities. Will Harry have the basilisk corpse harvested? I do however think that though some of the proceeds of the basilisk go to some of the victims, that that Hufflepuff boy publicly apologize to Harry before Harry gives him money. In fact, shouldn't Madam Bones, the unspeakables be involved. Imagine if the hunt for horcruxes is found much earlier? That and I can only imagine what the Weasley Family would really think about the real and whole circumstances of the recent school year. I doubt that Dumbledore would have much hearing left and severely injured from Molly Weasley...

I liked the original layout of this story, but I must admit that this more detailed version is much better.

The apology scene was very well done. Would seem to reenforce your promise that this won't be a hate fic. Huge sigh of relief

As for ship. If you have read the foreword for my Harry Potter story, you would know that am fairly open minded. But I must admit, it has been a very long time since I read a new Harry/Hermione story that wasn't a hate fic, so that would be a nice thing. But Harry/Luna with a supportive Ron/Hermione also has potential to be fun and interesting.

Harry/Ginny works too, of course. But if you do that, I think it would be interesting to have all three of the trio fall for someone else, while they stay best friends in the Tolkien since of the term. Maybe Ron with Luna and Hermione with Neville?

Whichever way you go, I look forward to it.
