D'awwww, this was adorable. I know movie!verse tends to suggest his death was a suicide, but I've always loved the idea that his aversion to bathing came from a deeper trauma (like drowning). I mean, it could always just be he's that disgusting (it IS Beetlejuice), but I still love the idea. I loved the easy banter and how calm Lydia stayed through everything, even when she was getting overwhelmed herself. These two are precious - loved this!
