Whoops, I have to correct you there. Naofumi has Intoxication Out, an esper ability that negates every toxins in the body. So poison, sleeping vials or anything that debuffs him in any way (except curses) are negated.

The world building in this story is awesome!

And it's nice to see Naofumi getting a little more light back in his eyes.

I don't know about you guys but I really want them to meet Melty. I can't wait for the team to meet up with the other Heros again.
Also I like the new oc Coco

potentially controversial opinion: i honestly hope that Raphtalia doesn't end up joining the group in any capacity. The roles that she filled in canon are being filled by other characters who are in my opinion far more interesting than she ever was.

I like that you're using both AU and canon (either manga or anime) content of the series and combining them; it's like you know what will happen (in the anime, at least (I have not read the manga, btw)) but there'll be different twists and plots going on that you'll never see coming.
I'm also looking forward to seeing the next potential member of Naofumi's group: The Scholar, if I'm correct, and see what they're like and what they have to offer. As well as seeing Raphtalia and Filo, but I know that those two will be making their appearances further down the line...at lot further, I'd imagine.
But, all in all, I'm glad to see you've updated, and I can't wait to read another new chapter again, whenever that may be - but take your time, it is your fan-fic after all - but until then, keep up the good work! *thumbs up*

Naofumi is finally feeling a bit better in that world. Its nice to see a different take on the Shield Hero anime in this fanfiction. And I like the more in depth detail to magic in this. Nice!

This is good. I like the AU. Admittedly, it took me a while to find it and get into it. But I like it.

I really like this Fanfic it gives a whole new plot to this anime/manga. I especially like the oc characters. I think it really shows more growth in character to Naofumi and more interaction and more suspense. I can't wait for the next update!

Sorry, but I'm not reading it any further. I hoped that in later chapters Shield will grow, but you just shit on him all the way.
