OMG, you're back! I missed this! And there is like, almost zero Zane now in fanfiction for some reason I don't understand. Chrissakes, I thought he was supposed to be really popular.

I will admit there were a couple times in the story where I wondered if you were struggling with the plot. But it all still works well with how you are establishing Selene as a character and going into the past with how the Abandoned Dorm incident has affected her and Zane and their relationship with each other.

I enjoyed seeing Alexis here. Her interactions with Zane were always good in the anime and this was as well. "I was there since I had to be present to duel". LOL Classic Zane!

The banter between Selene and Atticus was also fun at the end, despite the tragedy this came to. Poor Selene feeling like it was her fault. And I wonder what is up with the headaches? Good chapter and I hope we see more soon!

Nice update. It’s a bit weird seeing Zane like sweets after hours,and hours of playing tag-force trying to get the damn plain sandwich or golden egg sandwich to raise his friendship level..

This was really good. I really like how you explained how Zane is the way he is with distancing himself emotionally because of what happened with the abandoned dorm incident and how he feels he has expectations to do well as the Kaiser. The argument was pretty good too, especially since Zane admitted that he does care about Selene.

Writer's block is a huge pain, I know. I am glad you got out of it now, though. I liked the duel here. I will admit I got a little scared when Oliver got lady lapis lazuli out. Xd Zane is done very well as usual. Keep up the good work!

So, Selene has the same kind of nickname as Zane. (I think "Kaiser" means "Emperor"). I only hope that it came about from her dueling talents and not just from hanging out with Zane.

I think Selene just saw Zane dueling Jaden... I can't wait to see the duel with her, though! The only thing I'm kind of confused about was Oliver showing up. If Selene was in her room in the girls' dorm, then how was he allowed to be there? I'm guessing that is just Student Council patrol duty and that they can do that in other dorms. Anyway, good job!
