DarkSorcerer888 chapter 8 . 5/15 Seriously, I love that 4/7 of the members of the Gryffindor Quidditch Team are Weasleys. If Bill, Charlie, and Percy weren't so bloody old, it really would be the Weasleys' Quidditch Team. |
Mark Sinfield chapter 15 . 9/18/2019 nice story |
Guest chapter 3 . 9/2/2019 And again. I'm out |
Guest chapter 2 . 9/2/2019 Please unfuck the italics on this chapter and the previous one. It makes my eyes bleed. |
Vampireking40 chapter 7 . 6/14/2019 Two question one who is the male prefect and also who is teaching DADA. |
W1tch0nParad3 chapter 15 . 8/29/2018 Not RJ! I hate Voldemort |
Trace Reading chapter 2 . 9/18/2017 You're not closing the italics where you should. Also, the past tense of drag is dragged. We learned this shit in kindergarten, dude. |
Guest chapter 1 . 2/23/2017 Okay, I think I know what is next. |
KalKir chapter 2 . 10/26/2016 Got to say this story puts a whole new perspective of Fletcher and Figgs. Figs passing off as a muggle and supposedly a squib and Fletcher who has a criminal record both connected to the Department of Mysteries. Feels likes some James Bond stuff going on here. Actually got me quite interested seeing a different portrayal of the characters. |
missgsmith51 chapter 15 . 9/11/2016 Ah! I was right about R.J. I have to say this was a very poignant ending and left me a little teary-eyed. (That's a compliment, btw.) I liked the original character relationship for Harry. It was nice to see him have a loving relationship. I really enjoyed the way you used characters like Dung and Figgy in new ways. Because they aren't really well-developed in canon, you were able to give them different personalities and backgrounds. I must say that both were big surprises. The way you handled the final battle was particularly interesting, a unique use of both the Acromantulas and the Dementors. I totally appreciated the humorous moment when Harry invited Nagini to come away with him and Moldy got mad. It was good, too, that you gave us some drama with Harry's recovery. Generally, he just bounces up most unnaturally, as if he just had a bad fall or a minor DADA accident rather than going twelve rounds with Voldemort. Having him change into his Gryffin form, too, was great. Thanks for sharing your wonderful story with us. |
missgsmith51 chapter 14 . 9/11/2016 It's nice that Dumbledore isn't all riled up and is taking things slow and easy while Harry is fighting for his life, isn't it? Poor Harry. He finally falls in love - with someone who is UNdead, no less - and she is killed. If he comes out of this, I think he may give up on trying to love someone. Or maybe he will finally come to love Ginny. Who knows? Maybe he will figure out a way to be with R.J. It's hard to say with Harry. He's probably "hovering on the other side" right now, as he should be able to return, thanks to his Horcrux. Oh, maybe not. I just checked the dates on this story, and they are B.H., before Horcruxes, or before we knew about them, at any rate. Well, maybe Harry is doing something to help R.J. while he is wherever he is. I suspect there is a connection between R.J., that murdered princess, and the Veganos ruby. |
missgsmith51 chapter 12 . 9/11/2016 I'm surprised Harry didn't take the Marauders out into the forest and show them his Gryffin. I guess he was so worried about R.J. that he just forgot! Is there some symbolism in R.J. giving Harry a sword, or should it just be taken at face value as a gift? I ask, because there is a lot of symbolism surrounding swords. I'm also curious about the V in her name. Is it by any chance Veganos ... like the ruby? Is she possibly the princess who was murdered? Well, after that night together, I have a feeling Harry is well and truly a goner. I guess contraceptive charms are not needed on a vampire, correct? |
missgsmith51 chapter 11 . 9/11/2016 Well, apparently Ginny didn't "get the point" Harry was making in chapter 8, about emotional game-playing and just being honest about one's feelings. It's one thing for her to be jealous if she and Harry had been dating exclusively for a time; however, her level of jealousy is extreme (and somewhat troubling), even for a close friend. If she continues it, she may turn Harry off from ever wanting to consider her as more than just Ron's sister. I'm glad R.J. isn't troubled by the article. I'm curious, though, where the reporter (Skeeter, I presume?) got her information. Did she use her animagus form illegally again, or was she given the information by someone else? Malfoy, for instance, or possibly even Ginny? This should be interesting. |
missgsmith51 chapter 10 . 9/11/2016 I think Harry has a little crush on R.J. And Madam Rosmerta is correct - he does have quite the assortment of friends. I think Harry understands how it feels to be judged on things one can't help or control, so he tries to avoid judging anyone else on such things. Hermione is still acting a bit judgmental, or maybe controlling, IMHO. She seems not to like Harry having secrets. She also seems upset that he doesn't seem as willing to follow her advice as he has in the past. JM2K, of course. |
missgsmith51 chapter 9 . 9/11/2016 So ... Will Hermione butt in or not? Any bets? At least, it sounds as if Dumbledore knows about R.J., so she won't be giving away much if she tells him about Harry. I wonder if Hermione would be so worried if she were included in these little "jaunts" and lessons of Harry's. Sometimes I think she is just jealous. Hermione hates others having knowledge that she is unable to acquire, for some reason. |
