I like it. Although I could possibly see Squalo similarly defeated by a baby Tsuna-Xanxus too. It's honestly what I was half expecting. I like that it was Squalo, though. Also, babies naturally "look like" their father's as infants, supposedly, because it helps make sure said fathers recognize them as their own and treat them accordingly instead of as spawn of others, so I assume it also makes them primed to be more easily defeated by the Cute. Thus Squalo. (He'd be railing over the miseries of a tiny half-Xanxus existing more than cooing anyway.)

Love this fic and how Squalo's the father. Good reasonable choice as one of the more saner ones, he handles Xanxus (Varia). The ending of "oh no, it's cute" was perfect!

they are annoying, smelly, dirty, and messy, but damn, evolution pre-programmed us into thinking they're cute.
