I feel so bad for Caitlyn, she's been through so much, I am curious about her birth parents,obviously they're out of the picture since she was being adopted by a family. I just remember Louie leaving with his birth dad and I hated the writers for taking Louie away like that. I hope she can stay with Matt and Gabby, she wants to be with them and they want her too. I can't handle her being taken away from them again.

I'm glad they discussed trying to keep Caitlyn and also about Gabby getting pregnant again, I'm glad they're going to talk to Tina, I'm so afraid for Caitlyn if she's forced to leave them again and I must say I agree with Matt about Gabby trying to get pregnant again, it was so scary when she almost died and even a small chance of a recurrence with another aneurysm during pregnancy is also scary, I hope she won't try to get pregnant again. My fingers are crossed for Caitlyn to stay with them forever.

Caitlyn pulling at my heartstrings again, I love this child so much and I really need more adorable Sofia too, all I know is that Tina better help Dawsey adopt Caitlyn because I can't handle her being ripped from them again. Love this story so much,you're awesome.

Normally when I get behind and then all caught up, I just leave a review that touches on the newest chapter, but this time I feel like I have to address chapter 101 too because there was so much I wanted to say when reading it.

So to start with chapter 101. My heart absolutely broke for Caitlyn; the way she was just completely crushed and in such emotional turmoil when Dawsey got there. I don't think she could have taken much more. Psychologically she's clearly been through way too much in her short life, and this was just another thing. I was worried about how she would handle being ripped away from the Casey family when she clearly didn't understand the situation, but this was so much worse than I imagined.

And I do understand why Caitlyn's intended adoptive parents would have been frustrated. They were trying to make her their daughter; they wanted her to come into their home and see them as her parents. Instead she didn't see them that way and was constantly yearning to be with a different family. That had to hurt. It's only natural that they wouldn't be happy about it. But slapping her because of it is completely uncalled for and crossed the line. Maybe she would have gotten there with time; they'll never know now. They would have been briefed on her past as part of the adoption process. They had to know that based on the way she'd been bounced around, things with her would likely be difficult for a time. Maybe that this would be the way in which she was difficult couldn't have been foreseen when they first decided to adopt her, but if they were expecting to bring her into their home and have everything be smooth sailing all the time, they were deluding themselves. If they weren't preparing and willing to deal with her being difficult, they should have tried to adopt a baby, not a five year old who'd been bounced around the system.

And I felt bad for Gabby and Matt feeling like what happened was their fault. I guess in a way it was. Not that they did anything wrong. They did everything right, really really right, and that wound up being the problem. They probably gave her the only family she's ever known. Of course she wouldn't want to leave that behind. It was no surprise that she was so excited to get back to the Casey house and just immediately re-adapted to being there with her interactions with Sofia and Severide. After the first part of 101, that was nice to see.

Although I hated seeing how much she was struggling in 102. The way she was clinging to Matt and Gabby, afraid to be away from them; it's heartbreaking. They handled it all so well and were there for her in exactly the way she needed, but no child should ever be have to be so traumatized. It seems like this whole experience has done a lot of psychological damage to Caitlyn, and I'm pretty sure that if she had to leave the Casey family again, it would completely break her.

Honestly, back in 101 when they were at DCFS, I was expecting Dawsey to have one of those silent eye conversations and tell Tina before they left that they wanted to adopt Caitlyn instead of just saying they'd take her until things could be figured out. So I was surprised to see Gabby hesitant to discuss things with Matt in this chapter. I do understand her fears after everything with Louie. At the same time though, whether they were planning to adopt her or not, I don't think having to Caitlyn go a second time would be easy for her, and I was really glad to see her come down on the side of adopting Caitlyn. I think that's what's best for all three of them at this point. Now it's just fingers crossed that there aren't any hitches along the way.

My compliments to you. You are a powerhouse when it comes to your writing. You make me cry,you make me laugh,you make me happy,you make me sad. Just when I think I've completely figured out what's going to happen,I'm blindsided,I honestly thought Caitlyn was gone for good and I was so mad at you and now 2 chapters later I have hope again that she'll get to stay with Dawsey for good. My fingers are crossed that she'll be a Casey soon. Please make it happen.

Dawsey needs to adopt Caitlyn,she loves them and they love her,it's a great fit for all of them and we know she won't get abused being with them.

I have so many thoughts going on in my head after reading this chapter. First of all Caitlyn has been through so much and if she ends up anywhere except with Matt and Gabby I will be crushed. She's having nightmares,is wetting the bed and doesn't want Matt and Gabby out of her sight. I don't even want to think about what could happen to her if she's forced to leave their home again. Secondly,I must say I agree with Matt about Gabby trying to get pregnant again,after all they went through to have Sofia I can certainly understand him being afraid of her getting pregnant again,even though it's just a small risk after her almost dying I don't think they should try getting pregnant again, Sofia is their biological child and they got to experience a pregnancy and I believe they're happy with their miracle baby. The third thing I want to bring up is Gabbys fear of adoption, it's totally understandable especially after what happened with Louie,I agree they need to talk to Tina to make sure no one is outhere who can come claim Caitlyn out of the blue but seeing as she was placed for adoption already I doubt any family members would come around. I loved the chapter and the way you wrote Gabby and Matt discussing their fears.

I am so glad that Matt and Gabby feel ready to be Caitlyn’s parents, I hope it’s going to work out! Also i hope they won’t give up on the idea of having more kids in the future, but I love Caitlyn, she is such a cutie and she deserves a real family! I can’t wait to see more! I hope they will become her parents!

Caitlyn's so afraid, she doesn't want Matt and Gabby out of her sight,this sweet innocent little girl has been through so much,I hope she can stay with Dawsey and Sofia,speaking of Sofia,I'm still hoping she'll say dada soon.
