Have the Russians and the Endurance crew even known each other for three days yet? I mean, I sort of expected shipping to happen, but this feels off, mate.

A brave new tale. So far, very good writing. As a reader, I’m engaged because of the fact that the characters are interesting and funny. One of my favorite parts were the specifics where you went into the fact that at the height, they could freeze. You could have disregarded that point entirely, just saying the same thing with a few words but that wouldn’t be interesting. It gives the reader the sense that the author knows about what they’re talking about. The dialog with the Russian characters so far are interesting, giving them humanity and depth. The humor is well used in that regard. Pavel seems like your happy-go-lucky guy who thinks he’s good with women and often boasts about it, though it isn’t true. The babushka joke made me smile with the image of an old woman he tried to bed chasing him out of her house with a frying pan. On combat, I like it so far. It's cold and clinical. When they kill their targets, the spetsnaz don't even shed a single thought their way. Where there is brutality, it is cold and calculated. There are a few grammar issues but nothing significant that couldn't be caught and fixed. It could just be me, but I often find it hard to keep track of the Russian names and though you can discern what the Russian words you use in-text using context, there were one or two that did take me a second to get. All in all, a very good start and I hope to see more from you.

Well! Lots of things happened. So happy for Lara and Sasha! It's so friggin' cute! But yeah, all of them have a HUGE storm coming, (pun? lol) I'm really anxious to see how they're going to approach the situations: the palace and the yacht survivor, and what's going to happen to them. There's no way to predict because there's the original stuff you write and then there's the familiar scenes that are edited to fit the story. And I know things won't just happen like they do in the game. Your creative mind is too big for that. I really hate that I have to wait for the next update now!

Gotta love Sam. Even though she's held captive, she can still deliver a line worth chuckling about.

Well I read the first chapter and have to say that the concept is intriguing at least. It’s the russians that are the heroes, at least until now. That’s quite rare they are normally more of the arch villain type. So I like that in your story. Other than that I am confused why they would not go after the crates which are filled with food and medicine. That would be as important as finding the survivors given that the solarii are going to want it just as much as them.

so what about the tombs will they be doing some raiding and take some artifacts with them?

Well, who knew Lara could be so...forward. I'm as surprised as Sasha lol. And Reyes is actually pleasant. I've never seen her portrayed other than being a hard-ass, so it's nice to see another side of her. Since Lara isn't going to the radio tower, I'm curious on where you're taking this, like, REALLY curious. Is it gonna be like an AU?

Overall, very well written and incredibly detailed. I'm not a military or gun expert, so a lot of those details and acronyms go right over my head, but I just keep on reading XD And for those who are enthusiastic over that stuff, I'd think it'd be a satisfying story for them. Looking forward to more in the future :)

First off, awesome of you to write in the style of a military thriller. My personal favorite type of story, so I’m liking this one already! You seem to use the proper designation for weapons and planes and other military equipment, such as using an AN-26 transport plane and the AK-74m’s being used. You have done your home-work in that regard which is a must for me if you’re going to use the armed forces in your stories.

Secondly, this appears to be heading in a supernatural genre. Of course this being a Tomb Raider so it shouldn’t be a surprise. Again I like those kinds of stories so even more props.

I’m liking your special operations characters (oc’s?) They are portrayed like professional military officers in the field. Even when they are at their most ruthless, you get the impression they are doing a necessary evil not because they are psychotic but because it is simply something they have to do to survive on the battlefield.

Lastly you have Lara Croft down pat. I enjoyed reading and hope you continue it!
