Taking a 'hiatus'? Why in the world. I can't wait that long to find out what happens next so please make it a short hiatus. The story is well written and I love how it flows together seamlessly with the Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe movie. You should write more often! I give it a six out of five stars. :)

It is my hope Fanfiction doesn't truncate this review. I know I have been negligent in the reviewing of your story, as of late. Let me assure you, I have read each post in a timely manner. I understand what an arduous task writing sometimes can be so thank you for making the time and effort to not only post but post something of such quality, after eighteen such chapters you have earned the right to rest on your laurels. That I possessed your gift for the written word. I have, in the past, taken you to task for leaning a little too heavily on the movie version. I'd like to share this with you if I may. "And don't mention it to anyone else unless you find that they've had adventures of the same sort themselves. What's that? How will you Know? Oh, you'll know all right. Odd things they say - even their looks - will let the secret out. keep your eyes open." Professor Kirke in the last full paragraph of The lion, the Witch and the wardrobe. Here it would appear Lewis is inviting his adherents to share their stories with each other. I added this here to call out some trolls. If you don't have the ballocks to write and post a story of your own or can't post a constructive review then stfu and stop annoying people. valiantgirl3, you will be missed. Wondering how this will continue from there... does Evelyn follow Susan and Lucy's path or does she follow Peter and Edmund to the war against the Witch.

Very nice, very nice, I liked the way you steered the narrative away from beaver and towards Eve in the encounter with Father Christmas. I especially liked the way you thought through the idea of having her lose her knife in the last chapter so Father Christmas would have a uniquely personal gift to give to her. A little movie heavy but still, all in all, a most pleasurable read. I wait for your next chapter with bated breath.

Wondering if Evelyn, Pevensies and beavers run into some Witch's followers before meeting Father Christmas and reaching to the river... such as ogre(s) like in the game.

Good stuff, good...good...stuff, and, what do I think? I think your really starting to hit your stride. The opening act around the fire after a harrowing escape from the Witch's minions. The march to the Great river all told in a new and exciting way, I think C.S. would be pleased. A glass of milk, a scrummy cake and your story to read on a winter's afternoon, life is good.
