A beautiful rendition of the Jewish version of the story of Adam and Eve - and I quite agree. Mortal man aspires, clambers ever higher - a perfect world is the worst place for him to be.

And I quite like someone taking Pansy and having her take on the challenge.

Hello! I know this was written a while ago, but I just wanted to say that this is beautifully written, and I thought the characters were spot on - and the humor was well balanced. I have never seen this idea before (and never used like this) and I enjoyed it to the end.

Yes, I know I'm coming to this story extremely late (sorry, my bad) but better late than never..right?
That was such a beautiful letter, and a wonderful insight into the mind of Severus. I do love reading older stories for the pure enjoyment of how they imagined his life and reasons behind everything were, and this was just fantastic. It was just wonderful and I adored it (though Minerva's thoughts left me a little unnerved. I do so love a happy ending) this is an amazing story, thank you for writing it :)

This was as exquisite as Hermione's engagement ring. You wrote it realistically, the perfect balance of a dangerous but tender relationship between Hermione and Severus. Most Severus/Hermione writers make it so that their relationship is almost unrealistically perfect (suddenly Severus is a softie and suddenly Hermione is a Slyther - oh, and of course, a student and professor dating is "perfectly okay". Bosh!) But you captured the fact that not even they are perfect, that yes Severus is paying the consequences, but also that there is a part of their love that IS disturbing.

Your story leaves a lot open for us, as a reader, to think about. Is Severus romantic or obsessive? Will they be happy together or will they fall apart because of the effects if codependency?

You've done your research, you've timed your comedy, and you've examined a very complex relationship. You've done a perfect job in all respects and as a reader and fellow writer, I thank you. Beautiful.
