Reviews for The Price of Freedom
Naiini chapter 13 . 10/27/2019
I've always had Diego as an agent of the crown as a headcannon - either before he went back to California, or still active and using the persona of Zorro as a cover up for even more serious business. Thank you for writing this story! Not only is it well executed and ties a lot of historical lose ends together, it's also heartwarming to see the support shown by the people of Los Angeles throughout.

katie1999 chapter 5 . 7/20/2019
I like the idea of the general conspiracy to pretend that California is still under Spanish rule and the implications of it for Diego and his life - a very refreshing concept

Wow - what a great idea for a story! Loved how it kept moving forward, and the redemption of DeSoto in the end. I hope you will write more stories.
