Haven't reviewed before this, despite how tempted I was to do so, but I think this is an exception before I finish this story. And that's simply because: He said the line! I've been waiting for it for 69 chapters (haha, funny funny) and it finally happened!

This story was amazing. The characterization and your own twist to the original story was marvelous. Are you going to continue the story because I hope to see the conclusion of your own take of Octopath Traveller! The interactions between the 8 protagonists was amazing and when they were joined by 8 more supporting characters, the story kept improving and drawing me in to read another chapter. I hope you continue this story.

it's really weird. I've been meeting people who act just like our heroes. Meeting people who resemble fictional characters is so jarring. I don't know them, but it feels like it. Maybe it just means you're *too* good at this.

Y'know, every character doesn't *have* to be in a relationship. not that it's wrong, but it just seems odd having everyone in this enormous cast paired up. but also, I don't know relationships, so.

speaking of relationships, this is the biggest relationship web I've ever seen in a piece of media! just how many characters are there now!? it's crazy!? it's even crazier that I manage to keep up despite these giant reading gaps, too! not crazy bad, mind you, crazy impressive.

And I love it when they fight! the rare shouting match and argument like with Ogen/ophelia and now Olberic/erhardt really add some more depth to the already insane relationships web and insanely deep bonds between fighting characters.

lastly, why isn't this more popular. why am I still the latest review from two months ago. if you aren't upset, I'm mad for you. sigh, I wish there was a way i could advertise this. your work deserves more attention for the love it gets. maybe is just because Octo path aint that popular, despite being a gem.

Woof, it’s been far too long since I’ve read this. Poor Ophelia, having her head so crowded. And Poor Olberic, who may or may not be crushing on Erhardt who definitely is crushing on Odette. Poor all of them, honestly. The plots have begun to merge! Who knows what unholy terrors will unfold!

A good heart is hard to find. Amen.

The openings for these past two chapters are poifect. A good hook is always appreciated over a cliffhanger. And the subtle way each character plot progresses so well! Tressa just happens to find a map! Lastly, despite the heavy and hilarious flirtatious banter, I appreciate how intensely vague it is when it comes to what happens behind closed doors. Gotta keep it wholesome!

Gotta say, you gotta love Simeon. He looks fun to write.

Okay, I read all of this. ALL OF IT. And I love it. Good lord if I wasn’t on mobile I’d tel you how much I enjoyed this story. You’ve now solidified an(officially) under appreciated ship in my mind. Cyrus and Ophilia were meant to be.

I love this entire story and I can’t wait to see what else unfolds since, if I recall correctly, ont H’aanit and Ophilia stories have been completed thus far. I have a feeling Primroses is about to be next and I honestly cannot wait until she kills Simeon.

Humph. That was sooner than expected. I was hoping they'd all move on some before Galdera spat her out. Eh, but I don't think I could take the remaining party's sub-par jokes for long. If they even would make any then. Ophelia jokes are best jokes; says, readers!

Well...that happened...you really keep surprising me with the direction of this...wow. That was fast, loud, and chaotic. Like a room full of demons. Which it might as well have been. Not to mention passionate. You be writing like a madman to have just about finished this 300,000 word story so fast!

...I kinda hope Ophelia dies because it makes the ending all the more profound, but Ophelia is the best...she don’t deserve to die...but plenty like her do...

There are some nice bits of wisdom too. Like Leon saying the dark doesn’t give a damn. I’ve been looking for a good way to explain that idea, and, well, thanks! Of course that’s not the only one, but it’s the only one I’m seeing now. Here’s one for you to think on too (unless it’s in here and I forgot)

If you are not afraid of death, then you are not living.

It applies pretty well for our heroes.

I love that the fights have gotten as ridiculously easy as they do in the game. :P

MMMM! This got so serious but everyone is acting so chill still! I was going full on denial that Therion died so R.C.D. Is so glad he is behind in chapters! I’m lovin’ that everyone’s secondary job can now be cleric too.

Favorite chapter so far. Nice variety in events, tone, yet still lighthearted. Warms the ‘ol heart. I like the deviation from the game, but a simple chapter is nice too.

Alright, never mind about a love triangle, it’s a looking like all seven of them practically worship Ophelia! As it should be. I also get now that each chapter follows behind a particular character’s perspective too. Very cute. Lastly, I am starting to agree with Primrose and her H’aanit obsession. She seemed so drab in the game, but all the fanfics make her AWESOME!
