Out of all of the races for them to catch that year, they had to catch that one. Thoroughly enjoyed the chapter, cameos from almost everyone! Emily's still out of sorts from Jesse's crash and even in her short spot, she shows she's done with the place for now. Loved seeing Joe, and that splinter of friend groups that happens after school.

Really enjoyed that one again. It feels like a wind down but not an end, more like a beginning of a new chapter of their lives that they know is never going to be quite the same. Again loved seeing the outside perspective of what's happening to the Hudson family. I kind of want to see just a glimpse of what they think of the crash, and Jesse's disappearance and years later his reappearance.

Oh goodness I love this one. It had me giggling the entire way through. Ruth and Emily cameo! That had to be one of my favourite parts. I, of course got a great laugh out of Jesse's complaint of the Yankees being down south. I enjoyed the rib about the drivers not becoming anything more, other than possibly Alex, when Jesse later becomes Doc. Plus love the mention of Jesse's little trick in Thomasville that year. Not to mention how you pulled in the story title at the end there. And the fact that the crew interrupted them at that moment. I enjoyed it so much and have gone back and skimmed it in a few places as writing. Loved the quip about the chocolate, because I was certainly thinking that.

This looks like it will be an interesting adventure. I'm looking forward to more. It's really interesting to see things from the viewers side of things instead of the racers.
