A pretty good AU. I liked the concept of Harry faking his death and pretending to be Sirius’ son. The fact he instantly blabs his secret to many different people wasn’t too well thought out (2 can keep a secret if 1 is dead), but the writing was good.

Alphard said that he has inherited an owl. If it's Hedwig then it's the one owl species that would not have a problem with Canada's weather. Using radio is faster anyway, but Canada HAS a large population of owls used to arctic tundra climate. IF their Post Snowy Owls are caught in the wild instead of bred...
