Too many ocs, mc is a pushover but then hes too overzealous at the worst times.

Well the first encounter between Yuuto and Kotonoha was decent enough, and that Kotonoha wasn't scared. was probably because he wasn't acting as Taisuke, but more the nice and kind type Makoto seems to be.

Apart from all the nasty stuff that's happened in Haramihama throughout 0verflow's games, it's probably a decent city with history (At least it's not Derry, Maine or Jerusalem's Lot, but more like Little Tall Island with it's own, mostly non-supernatural dark secrets).

At least the school library could get Yuuto in contact with Yuuki Ashikaga, and probably allow him to get his hands on a copy of the Necronomicon for some Mythos style retribution against those that anger him.

Considering that most his former friends abandoned him, a few years ago, for suddenly attracting all the other girls in middle school, Yuuto befriending Makoto, giving another male friend alongside Taisuke, might help keeep him in check, and help Taisuke by making him get into a relationship with Hikari.

Funny thing about Makoto's anime version, was that in the last episodes he seems to have gone Mini-Kilgrave (The tv-show version of Purple Man), and managed to "Kilgrave" Hikari Kuroda and probably subconsciusly "Kilgraved" all the other girls flocking towards him, but his betrayal and rejection of Sekai snapped all of them free of his control and led to his doom.

Ouch, this may not end well...

Oooh, the drama is beginning to heat up!

Red flag! And Katou is planning something just to get back at Yuuto!

This is a good retelling of school days. When will you update it?

To be fair, I think that after 2007, Yuuki Ashikaga, was the deconstruction of the self-insertion fanfiction character fixing the problems of the anime adaptation of School Days, when said SI should have gotten to the root of the problem and gone after Tomaru Sawagoe, and Makoto's even worse half-brothers, guilty of the sins of anime Makoto and moreso. Not to mention that apart from Summmer/Shiny Days, Taisuke Sawanaga was, in many ways, worse than Makoto, being a potential walking time bomb, after Kei Ogata, from Pure Mail, was through with him. Not to mention that Yuuki should have gone after his friend, Kyouichi Kassanoin, instead of Makoto.

But, to try to be more fair: The Cross Days manga version of Makoto was beginning to walk the same dark path of his father, showing that Yuuki's imperative resolve to expose his dark nature wasn't unwarranted.

Tales From The Crypt was probably why I appreciated the anime adaptation, for showing a Makoto who was corrupted utterly by his subconscious powers of seduction, and destroyed because of it. And the School Days manga showed a Makoto, who in the end, tried to make things right, despite his failure to do so.

Seems like the main character of this story was self-inserted into Haramihama.
