I really like the dialogue, and the description in this story. I also love the idea of Shepard retiring on such a way. :)

I don't know what we did to deserve this slew of beautiful one shots but I'm not complaining.

I think my favorite thing about this one shot is how unique it is. I've never seen an FF fic come anywhere close to this plotline, especially without being crack. There's a case for this to be called crack, but I don't think it is.

This is lovely and has such a natural feel to it that I can practically feel the grit of sand under my feet.

this...this was good. very good. i like that they were content to just exist together without even bothering on names cause through fighting they knew each other. possibly better but definitly differently then if they met normally. its more...visceral so to speak. it works. this worked. well done

Wow this put a huge smile on my face :D The thought of Sephiroth and Shepard retiring, settling down, doing mundane normal vacation things is genius! I mean Sephiroth fishing? While Shepard is surfing in the background? Absolutely brilliant.

I can only imagine the reactions of Angeal and Genesis to this particular scenario. Or the various other FFVII cast.

I like how Australians retire. Sounds like a nice way to spend your golden years. As much as I'm eagerly waiting for the next "N7 SOLDIER" update, this small fanfic was a nice read.
