I got so excited seeing this update! I'm so hooked you wouldnt believe.
You've got an incredible ability to provide just enough information to keep people guessing what's actually going on!
I cant wait to find out if theres other FMA characters, how Ed got to the shire and knows of Thorin. Let alone how he will further impact the story!
I also love his character so far. He's been in the shire for 10 years and Westron seems to be a rather polite language. He keeps to himself in a strange land, I wonder what hes been through at this point. Cant wait to read more, excellent chapter!

I really like the set up so far, though I'm wondering where Ed's famous temper has run off to. The writing is very nice so far, each of the characters has their little nuances that don't completely copy from the book or movie. I'll be on the lookout for the next chapter!

This is really good! You should definitely continue. I liked your style of Ed and how he's been added into the story we all already know. I'm curious to know more about Ed's point of view on being in Middle Earth, and I liked the bit where he stated "Truth save us all," making mention of Truth like that.

Having Edward Elric speaking Hobbit-grade formality is weirdly perfect. I'm interested to see where you take this.
